This place is a dump. Room was old worn and dirty. We stayed as they would not refund if we left. In the morning we had no hot water so we asked again can we leave and again the answer was no. We changed rooms this one was even worse but had hot water. We went to sleep and woke... More

Alveno and Pavo were great hosts and so so helpful with info we needed. Great place to stay and Alveno has great contacts for tours, restaurants, and transportation! They are great hosts! It was a very good rate.

My partner and I booked 6 nights at Divisamar through Expedia and got a very good price (even the manager at reception commented on how good a deal it was and how he could not have offered such a price). We had read the mixed reviews on TripAdvisor but thought the reasons for the negative reviews wouldn’t be so pertinent... More

Beautiful pool area and a nice clean motel. Our room was old and should be updated a bit but clean. It was a convenient location for things we wanted to see in the area. There were fruit trees in the courtyard and occasionally monkeys came around. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

I went with school group and our guide did say it wasn't a resort. Well when we got there, the roof started leaking in one of my friend's rooms, another friend didn't have a working toilet! If I knew we had to sacrifice cost for the worst hotel, I would of went somewhere else. I don't like to jeopardize a... More

We stayed here for 3 days. We picked the hotel because of its proximity to restaurants and the fact that the bus (we relied on public transportation) stops in front of the hotel. The room. We were shown two options to pick from before they accepted any cash. The room we picked was just fine until the a/c died after... More

We booked this hotel for three nights. Upon first glance, the hotel appeared a bit run-down, especially for the price that we had been quoted over the phone ($115/night). The owner immediately requested that we go to the ATM a couple of blocks away to take out cash to pay for our stay instead of the credit card we had... More

We just returned from Costa Rica with Manuell Antonio being the third and final leg of our vacation. Everything was great until we landed at the Divisamar. This place is not a three star hotel. It's more like a pensione. It does not live up to expectations, and didn't provide most of the services advertised. There is no casino, restaurant... More

We stayed at divisamar for one week. The hotel has a great location because it's right between the beach and downtown quepos. also, there's lots of restaurants near it, there's even a small mall next to it. i had lots of fun at the casino.
