We literally gasped when we opened the doors to the two rooms (our adult children had the other one). The floor to ceiling windows showcased the breathtaking ocean, and the second room was on a corner, so had these views on two sides. Not all rooms faced the ocean, so be sure to make sure you get these. We were... More

We rented the penthouse suite. The views were amazing. The Wi-Fi was great (a must since the NBA and NHL drafts were going on). The staff was really friendly and helpful. I loved the monkeys (they were everywhere) and the birds (so beautiful). Our flight did not leave till midnight, so instead of paying for the room another night, they... More

Just got back from a 3-day stay at Costa Verde, as part of a 9-day trip to Costa Rica. Costa Verde is in a beautifully located property… but needs some real updates for the year 2015. 1) The room view, we were on the Pacific side, was breathtaking. 2) Our room was plenty big, and appointed with a fully functional... We went straight from the San Jose Airport. Got there and the monkeys were all around. Room was very comfortable. Decent restaurant within walking distance and a good breakfast at the restaurant on site. They set up the nature walk in the National Park for the next morning. The guide (Jason) was VERY knowledgeable and spotted birds and monkeys and... More

This was a fantastic hotel for our second leg of our honeymoon. We were in a suite that overlooked the sea which was fantastic. The patio was large and roomy and private. The room was large, and had very good air conditioning and was very comfortable. There was candles provided for our brief area wide power outage. The beds leave... More

We stayed at the Costa Verde in March 2015. We were in the E-5 bungalow. The bungalow itself was incredibly spacious with plenty of room for all four of us. There is a small kitchen area, but we didn't really use it much other than to prepare cereal and fruit for breakfast. There are two beds in the main living... More

Our room was spacious, airy and in the tree tops. The large deck overlooked the jungle with a clear vision of the beach. The pool closest to our room was clear, clean & not crowded & we went swimming mornings, mid day & evenings. Breakfast was available on the hotel grounds, other meals were made in our room or at... The location of this hotel in Manuel Antonio can't be beat! Our room (B8) had an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. Our favorite activity in MA was watching the monkeys and birds from our balcony. We saw, and heard, many monkeys as well as toucans and other tropical birds. The room was simple, full of light, and beautifully decorated.... More
