We really did love our food here. However, we chose the wrong table by the pool. We came after dark for a nice quiet dinner but a family swimming in the adjacent pool had other ideas for us. We had to move to a large table in the center of the restaurant to avoid being continually splashed. Not the restaurant's... More

The rooms were quite nice and the setting was enchanting. Many rooms were like being in a treehouse. However there is absolutely nowhere you can go on this property that doesn't involve stone stairs and lots of them--and this includes the sole restaurant. Stairs are steep, with no railings, and very slippery when wet. Lovely place but beware, if you... More

My first trip to Quepos Costa Rica was such a fun-living positive experience. Mostly, because I loved the relaxed attitude at The Byblos Hotel. I stayed in what I called a tree house because I was surrounded by nature. The room was huge and the king size bed very comfortable, and it had A great covered verandah. The monkeys visited... More

The room air conditioning smelled mouldy and the tiles in the bath need to have the grout cleaned. There was never enough towels and never face cloths even after the room was made up. After spending 2 sleepless nights on the hard mattress I used all the room pillows to provide a more comfortable surface to sleep on.

Nice location, grocery across the street, few minutes walk to the bus station, and plenty of restaurants around. The room we were at is a standard size with lots of amenities like mini fridge, microwave, safe (free), and a small sofa and table on the other side. Bathroom is outdated but still functioning well but need renovation soon. Free Wi-Fi... More

Great relaxing environment. The staff was great. Rooms are sorrounded by rainforest, we saw monkeys, birds and a family of racoons near the pool area. Breakfast is a little small but the price was fair. Very quiet not for partying purposes

I recently stayed two nights at the Byblos Resort and it was a very good experience. As a result, I would definitely stay here again. The location is great and you can either take a bus or walk down the hill to the beach (beware of the, at times, step uphill walk). There is an onsite restaurant for breakfast and... More

The hotel was a 5 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk (downhill/uphill) to the beach. There are an abundance of restaurants and shopping along the way to the beach. The hotel itself had some slightly dated rooms but was comfortable. Breakfast was good portions and included. Their was a Bar/club attached that bad different events every night, so you did... More

The Byblos is French-owned and everyone knows how much the French love food, right? We had dinner here almost every night, the food was just that good. Highly recommended. Excellent service and ambience as well.

The staff at Byblos was so incredibly attentive and friendly during our entire stay. The property is tucked into the jungle a bit so it allows for a full immersion experience into the beautiful jungle life in Manuel Antonio. The bungalows are lovely and roomy (the beds are especially comfortable!), and the stand alone accommodations among the monkey playground is... More
