My wife and I traveled to Manuel Antonio for the first time in June 2010. We chose to stay at La Mansion Inn, not knowing exactly what we were going to get. What we got was above and beyond our expectations. This boutique hotel has an exemplary staff dedicated to ensuring your stay is everything you imagined it would be,... More

Just wanted to right a belated review because I saw someone write a negative one on here that was really inaccurate. I was actually at the hotel during a huge tropical storm that was washing house away in 2009 and they had a ton of people around the clock working to hold everything together. We were upgraded without requesting it... More

This hotel truly made you feel like family. The room was clean with a beautiful view of the forest, and housekeeping was there with whatever you wanted. But it was the staff in general that impressed me. Always with a smile, they answered every question and offered suggestions for local food and fine trips. Three members in particular, Larissa, Mauricio,... More

The staff was very nice, in particular Edgar (front desk) and Paul (shuttle). They were really great and helped make a great trip even better. The views from La Mansion are incredible, from either side of the pool/patio area (ocean on both sides!) and from the private yard outside your room. Be warned that the road to this place is... From the night we arrived to the day we left we had a wonderful time at La Mansion. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful. Damion and Edgar were very helpful and friendly, as was the wait staff at breakfast and the pool bar. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. It was warm and cozy. The staff was amazing!! The morning breakfast was delicious and the pool has an amazing view of the ocean. We enjoyed our dinner at their beautiful restaurant then walked over to the Bat Cave for a delicious drink! We would definitely come back. They offered us a... More

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Manuel Antonio area. The staff, especially Larissa, was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us choose places to eat and excursions. Views from the rooftop pool and sundeck are breathtaking and the rooms were very nice and clean.

The staff at La Mansion are by far the most helpful staff I have experienced in my travels. They not only provided information when needed weeks before our trip actually took place, but they took it upon to make all arrangements we needed for us and even charging deposits to the card for our room so we did not have... This place was legit gross. We left after a few hours and high tailed it to the Marriott in Jaco. We left at 8 pm in the rain and did not regret the decision. We like to visit towns when we travel. This town was not quaint, it was not interesting. It was just bad. The hotel is on some... More

Is this a practical and and untasteful joke? If you really held a reservation at La Mansion Inn anc checked out because of bugs I will give you $1000.00! - We have absolutely no knowledge of this and there is no Marriott in Manuel Antonio. We also do not have a Welcome Letter stating that we have bugs. Obviously there... More

La Mansion Inn was just perfect! Charming room, unbeatable views, exceptional staff and quality of service, delicious drinks/food, reasonable prices... what more can you ask for? We saw tucans while sitting at the pool and monkeys on the drive into the hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. The town of Manuel Antonio is beautiful, and the hotel is located... More
