My stay at La Mansion was wonderful! The staff were all very helpful and friendly - beginning with the reservation process when I e-mailed Rosalie Maas with many questions and she always got back to me quickly with the information I needed. She also arranged our airport transport from the tiny Quepos airstrip. The room had a balcony with lounge... More

La Mansion is an excellent place to stay! It is a diamond in the rough and reasonably priced for what you get. The views, food, and room were impeccable. The staff were extremely freindly, and willing to assist with any of our needs. Its close to the beach and quiet and safe ( there's a guard that watches over the... More

Although the La Mansion Inn was located down a much rougher road than expected, we enjoyed the secluded feeling upon arrival -- and were glad we weren't the taxi driver that had to back down the curved driveway. Although the hotel is not along the main road through Manuel Antonio, we enjoyed being off the beaten path and didn't ever... More

I just wanted to write a quick review and tell everyone how great of a time we spent at this hotel! The pool and sky lounge area is absolutely heaven! And the service is wonderful! I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights in a delux room. The room was not huge but it had a fantastic view out a wall of sliding patio doors. The king bed was very comfortable and there was a table with 2 chairs, a dresser with a small TV, a small fridge/mini-bar, and a safe. The bathroom was adequate... More

I was so excited to go to this hotel, I thought it would be the nicest place we would stay in Costa Rica...it was the worst. We checked in and the front desk guy was snobby and seemed irritated we were there. He showed us to our room, but we did not get a welcome drink or tour like other... More

As owner I apologize and I wished you had made the effort to find me as my welcome letter to every guest suggests in the event something is amiss no matter how minor. I was not aware of a problem until I read your review. We have rules but sometimes guests break these and sometimes smoke in a room. I... More

We rounded out our12 say costa rica trip with a 3nt stay at La Mansion. We got a really good deal and wanted a bit of luxury after some adventure- I wouldn't normally choose a place like this otherwise. When we pulled up it felt like we were mega out of place. We had been hiking our jeep was covered... More

I do apologize and assure you that this is only the second time in 9 years since our opening that this has occured to a guest and this hardly qualifies as an "infestation". I heard about this incident from my staff but did not hear there was a second scorpion found in your room. Very unusual! In 9 years we... More

La Mansion is a nice hotel. I stayed in a Jr. Suite for a few days last month. Views from the private balcony are amazing. Room is quite nice. It has 2 sliding doors that open in opposite directions onto the balcony, a chandelier, 2 couches, king size bed, rain-tree shower, TV, alarm, remote controlled ac, etc... & everything is... More

My husband and I and our two college-aged sons just spent a fabulous vacation at La Mansion Inn. What a perfect hotel and location for all things fun to do in the Manuel Antonio area. This elegant and immaculate boutique hotel is filled with intimate spaces and fabulous views. There is local art throughout making you feel totally transported. The... More

I loved La Mansion. The staff were all very friendly. Our balcony looked right out on to Manuel Antonio park (we could even line up a postcard with the view!). Breakfast on the patio was lovely, and there were a lot of excellent choices. The swim-up bar was great, and every afternoon we met tons of people to chat with... More
