Beautiful views, comfy AC. Got a shuttle to the park, and took a taxi back. Room was great, pool was great. Breakfast was yummy, although there were a lot of flies around, but that's what you get outside, so it was ok. Dinner was very good as well in the restaurant. It is hard to get to, as you need... We have just spent 4 nights at La Mansion Inn and we were upgraded to the Presidential Suite for our honeymoon. As per previous comments the decor is a talking point, but to be honest the views were amazing, the bed so comfortable (the best sleeps of the entire trip), the apartment huge, and the area in general was fantastic.... It was cloudy and raining (it was warm rain) the whole time we were there. We only saw the sun 1 hour on the last full day. We met a lot of nice people from North America including the Manager Robert who would make sure all was good during our stay. Birds, Monkeys, Macaws, Geckos and Iguanas. Cerveza Imperial Light,... Stayed here for 6 days over Xmas 2014. Loved it. The penthouse (room #19) was fun. Admittedly, the decor does fairly scream 'set from Dynasty', but I like that sort of kitsch. ;) The penthouse was spacious, complete with jacuzzi & two balconies. Food was pretty good overall. Service could be uneven - slow at lunch, especially, but that may... More

Stayed here for 4 nights with my family. The manager Robert Leone was great.Very friendly and made sure our needs were taken care of. Family vacation with my college age children. Breakfast was included. Lots to do in this region.

Thanks for your nice write-up - as owner we yake guest reveiws very seriously and analyze each and every one of them carefully. We are in the "pleasing" business and all suffer when something goes wrong. However, we recuperate, take corrective action and move forward. For that reason we have one of the best hotels in the area. Season Greetings,... More

This hotel wasn't necessarily bad, but it wasn't good either, and we wish we had stayed somewhere else. The decor is weird with many clashing styles, from old-timey luxury, to modern, to wallpaper, to murals, to cheesy bed frame lighting, etc. The way the room was finished was sloppy - the lightswitch for the living area was on the side... Thanks for your review and I do sincerely apologize - our various hotel decors we compare at times to the Baskin Robbins Ice Cream flavors - they are all good but not to everyone's liking. Luckliy we seem to please most of our guests and on average we only get a truly negative review on average every 9 months or... More

My wife and I got married on the rooftop here in December 2014. Dealing with La Mansion Inn and specifically the General Manager, Robert, is one of the worst hotel experiences of our entire lives. The ceremony was marred by the hotel management's negligence. As our guests (and we) walked out to the rooftop ceremony, the area was not even... More

My apologies for this negative experience. Weddings are very speical and especially this 90+ Hindu wedding which was very hard to execute due to the fact that although the Sky Lounge was completely blocked off for this event your guests had to go though the hotel swimming pool area which was occupied by regular hotel guests who were eating and... First I want to talk about the great aspects of this hotel. If you are accustomed to U.S. Or European class, this hotel decor is closer to a 3 star. Considering the location and the fact that common hotel experiences in the region are closer to 1 and 2 star, it can be classified as a top notch hotel. A... More

My apologies for the lack of communication with our manager, please send me your contact address for an apprpriate refund.. The 50% sign was a discount of the normal $350.00 rate. Besides the main parking lot we also offer the West Parking and street parking. Harry Bodaan More

Just got home from CR 3 days ago, La Mansion Inn was our last stop. And what a good choice it was. After 6 days of adventure and nonstop touring Costa Rica, we had finally reached our final destination to hit the beach and relax. This hotel had some of the friendliest staff we encountered on our trip. Everyone was... More

I stayed at La Mansion Inn with my mom during a recent weeklong trip in Costa Rica and can't say enough great things about it: gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio National Park from our room and the pool area, plus wonderful staff. Robert, the manager, immediately made us feel welcome and throughout the week was fun... More
