This is truly an amazing place. The hotel offers all the amenities you will need to enjoy and relax. We stayed in room 17 and it is unique do to the extra-extra large patio. The other room also offer patios and appear to have more room space. You can not go wrong with whatever room you choose since they all... More

While the hotel itself was fine, it was down a steep hill so you really didn't want to walk anywhere. Nice pool area again with a great view of the ocean. Parking was a problem so we didn't drive much while we were there. We had some problems with the vent in the bathroom, and it took two days and... More

Thanks for your review.... In order to have that "killer view" we needed to build the hotel on a hill. Regarding parking we have three options - West Parking lot, East parking (valet) lot or street parking...for a total of 21 spaces... More

If you go to Manuel Antonio, stay at the Mansion Inn. At first be kind of mad that you have to walk up that uncannily steep hill (because your van guy says he won't make it but maybe he just wants to see you walk up the hill), and then completely forget about the hill because the hotel is really... Thanks for your fun review! Although I did not get to meet you personally, you and I think much alike! Life, especially vacations have to be fun! Let your hair down and realize that when traveling to a developing country, things are a little (or a lot) different than in some of our home countries. The same rules do not... More

We stayed here for five nights. The staff was very welcoming and fun to talk to. We were upgraded to a suite at check in which was very nice. (#25However the bathroom had a very impractical layout with minimal counter space and a jacuzzi shower combo that was downright dangerous to get in and out of. I'm not sure if... More

Thanks for your nice comments - because of your comment we have installed a metal handlebar in the Jacuzzi Shower of Suite #25 which makes it easier to get in and out and are adding some glass shelves. Most rooms and suites do have walk-in showers or already do have the handlebar where needed. Again, thanks for the suggestions.. I... More

The best thing about this hotel is by far the view but keep in mind not all rooms share such a great view. Hotel parking was a nightmare - you could pull up the steep winding drive without difficulty but backing down onto a narrow winding road was horrible. The bat cave bar was interesting although it had about 2... More

Thanks for your comment although I do not quite agree with some of your observations. You are right about that not all 24 rooms/suites share the same view. Regarding the hotel parking we have three (3) parking options as indicated on our Main Parking Lot. Our West Parking (the one you mention) offers 11 parking spaces, our East Parking (valet... More

This was our last stop on our Costa Rican trip, which was marred by some bad weather and terrible tours booked by our travel agent, wish I could review them! They upgraded us to a penthouse suite at La Mansion, but it seemed like most of the rooms had equally amazing views. We were greeted by the super friendly manager... More

This was my fourth stay and they have never let me down. The rooms are always nice and clean. The views from anywhere at resort are amazing. The best part of the resort though is the service. From Robert, the hotel manager, all the way through the staff. Also, the breakfast is great.

My wife and I recently went to Costa Rica for our first trip, and our first hotel was La Mansion in Manuel Antonio. Our room was a "Deluxe" Room with a view facing out toward the ocean. The room itself was very nice - very large, very clean. The view was very nice, but was partially obstructed by trees and... More

We had an excellent experience at La Mansion Inn! This is a beautiful hotel located just off the main street between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The hotel is not new but clearly very well maintained. Our room was spacious and had large terrace with a magnificent view of the ocean. The service was first rate. Joyce expertly facilitated our check-in... More

Beautiful views, comfy AC. Got a shuttle to the park, and took a taxi back. Room was great, pool was great. Breakfast was yummy, although there were a lot of flies around, but that's what you get outside, so it was ok. Dinner was very good as well in the restaurant. It is hard to get to, as you need...
