The hotel is lovely - the pool overlooks the ocean and you have breathtaking views everywhere. The staff is very, very attentive and helpful. I loved my room - clean, spacious, comfortable bed, good AC and free wifi. There is a nearby beach, Biensanz, that is worth visiting. Nice place to stay at.

My family of 9 people checked in today. We have three rooms. The rooms are outdated, small, dark and dirty. Our room has a tub that doesn't drain. The bathroom is infested with ants (dead and alive). The air conditioner leaked all over one of our bags. They fixed the air conditioner and superficially cleaned the bathroom but left the... More

We stayed at Hotel Parador with our two kids, ages 8 and 10, as the second part of our trip. The first place we stayed at was very new and ultra posh, so this place had a lot to live up to. The grounds were gorgeous-- the infinity view from the family pool is amazing. There are monkeys and iguanas... More

That being said, we'll also transmit your kudos; by the way, the tour company you mentioned is our own, Quepos Verde... More

We only got to stay one night but greatly enjoyed our stay. One our walk through the trails we saw sloths, monkeys, and iguanas. The pool is wonderful, rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a room overlooking the tennis courts. Not a great view, but with the heat, there was no danger of any noisy tennis games breaking out. Not sure how much more tower rooms cost, but it may be worth it to have a better view. The hotel has a great activities center and booked a good mango tour... More

You're so right: it was hot in Manuel Antonio in February! As part of our sustainability efforts we try to keep our common areas—including our indoor/outdoor restaurants—as cool as possible using fans and the breeze, but sometimes it does get a bit warmer than we'd like. We're glad you were able to enjoy viewing the wildlife and a visit to... More

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are nice, and it is HOT there. The staff is incredibly nice and the wildlife is also incredible. The only issue I had was the gringo pricing once you arrived there. Insane food and drink prices. I'm not rich and wealthy. I work hard for my money, and I wish the ticans could... More

When we arrived at Parador, the first thing the kids said was that it looked like we were staying in a palace. It is a beautiful hotel with amazing ocean views, gorgeous forest and a variety of wildlife to experience. We saw several good size iguanas around the pool area at various times as well as monkeys and a sloth... More

We stayed for 3 nights after an amazing tour of Costa Rica. We arrived at the hotel and were given a damp flannel to cool off but no welcome drink as all the other hotels we gad visited did!! This is very nice place with an awesome location and view. The hotel pools are second to none and offer spectacular views into Manuel Antonio bay. The rooms are spacious and offer fantastic views as well. The only issue is that the beautiful location requires a taxi drive to get into the community (unless you don't mind walking up really... My husband and I booked this hotel last minute so we were only here for one night but our short stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The service was excellent and although I booked one of the less fancy garden rooms, we still received suite level service the entire time! The breakfast buffet... More
