This place was nicer than advertised. The place where celebrities stay look at the wall in the lobby. The staff was excellent, the property very well maintained and the restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Lots to do and see, watch out for the crabs and iguanas while walking around. The pool was great and the views stunning. Highly recommend if... More

Stayed there two nights in the Vista Suites, beautiful rooms in Building 8. Jonathan the bellhop who took us to the room and took care of our bags was very helpful and pleasant. 5 star hotel with all the amenities you'd expect. It is a large complex and you can call for golf carts to travel you around however the... More

A beautiful way to end our holiday. Really lovely landscaping and pool arrangements - was delighted to spot: monkeys, iguanas and a sloth whilst swimming!! The room was clean and spacious with a lovely little balcony - comfy and large beds with a good-sized bathroom. Really enjoyed our visit to the Manuel Antonio park. The staff were super-helpful at the... More

This hotel has spectacular views on the surroundings. We loved the kindness of the staff, the facilities of the hotel and our room (suite). Food and drinks are as always overpriced. But in the close proximity of the hotel there are some pretty good and much cheaper restaurants.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the hotel parador. I was travelling with my 20 year old daughter, after she finished doing some volunteer work in Costa Rica. We had spent 5 nights in guanacaste at the JW Marriott ( reviewed separately ) and then travelled to see Manuel Antonio area and chose the Parador. I booked the... More

This place is excellent, it has great views, god ambiance and excellent service. The views are excellent, we had four rooms in three different buildings and they all had great views. Building 8 (suites) is the best. Their breakfast is excellent. The monkeys can end up right at your balcony, we had it happen. About 5 of them.

Dear Guest, Thanks so much for your review. The monkeys can be quite playful and curious—they live right on the grounds so you never know when they will show up! We hope you had a good flight home and look forward to seeing you again on another visit. Pura Vida! More

We stayed at the Parador for 3 nights after a fabulous 9 day caravan tours vacation. We had 2 teens, 2 adults and 3 seniors from 75 to 82 years old. The Parador resort is a self contained 5 acre property with 3 acres of forest with a monkey trail, ponds for frogs at night and the most excellent staff.... More

Spent five days at this beautiful resort and not once were we disappointed. We stayed at one of the suites overlooking the ocean and suite building’s pool. The room was top notch, clean, modern, functional, and was everything our family of 4 needed. The resort grounds and common use areas are fantastic, well kept, and clean. Service, just as we... This is a most wonderful place to stay with a family. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed despite the grandness of the hotel. The pool area is divine and the children spent many happy hours frolicking in it (or them I should say as there are three or four all linked together). Other pools are available for guests... More

From the moment we checked in, it was obvious that this is a special place. We were greeted with a cold towel and welcome drink, which was very refreshing after long drive from San Jose. The room was really nice, though we spent very little time because the property was simply fabulous. The pool is one of the best, and... More
