Favourite hostel I stayed at in Manuel Antonio. This hostel is just oozing in good vibes! Loved cooking in the open kitchen and enjoying my meal outside. Being so close to the National Park, the howler monkies singing is amazing! And you're a quick 5 minute walk from the beach. This place is fantastic, would love to stay here again.

The rooms are super small; the bedding was old and with holes on the sheets. The ONLY thing you're paying for is the fact that the hostel is 50mts from the entrance of the park; don't expect absolutely anything else out if the hostel. You could hear everything on the other rooms, the bathrooms are dirty. One small thing that... More

Pros - awesome location (50m from the park entrance, 250m from supermarket and public beach - nightly movies (volume was really low but it's good for early sleepers) - 11PM curfew (will come back in the cons) - bathrooms and toilets are clean and abundant Cons - Got a reservation for a private room but needed to switch for another... Pro's: Good location, cheap, pool Con's: Dirty bedding Uncomfortable beds- my friend woke up with bruises, no joke Misleading photos- make sure you check the fine print about the rooms and beds, and don't assume that it'll be anything like the pictures Hot- most rooms have a fan but no AC. It's okay at night, but during the day, you... More

Great pool and kitchen facilities. Great staff. Especially Allan. Okay dormitories if you only use it to sleep. Lots of people,p some you are the type that likes to go to bed early and need a quiet night, then it might not be the best place for you. On the other hand it is perfect for the type who love... This was my favorite hostel in Costa Rica. It is an easy bus ride from Quepos and very short walking distance to the national park and the beaches (in or out of the park). There are also many restaurants (some more affordable than others) steps away from the hostel. We stayed in a private room (no bath) on the second... More

I was conflicted how to review this place. Lets start with the positives. The location is unbeatable as its a few steps away from the national park itself. Also a 2 min walk to the public beach, bus stop, and the restaurants in the area. They have a restaurant on site which serves good food and smoothies. You get a... More

We are a 30-something couple traveling for three weeks in Costa Rica on a budget during rainy season. This hostel has a great location close to the beach and park entrance in Manuel Antonio. Clean bathrooms, showers and kitchen. The staff work very hard to keep it so, but they seem to resent the guests and aren't very friendly. Bed... More

I first payed for a dorm, but once i got there i regretted the decision. The bunk beds, floor, and "lockers" were full of dust. It It was like a big storage room with beds; super sketchy. Then, decided to pay extra for the shared bathroom room. It was still pretty bad, but better than the dorms. I mean, I... More
