Spent 2 nights here as part of a Tucan travel tour of Central America. It's a nice hotel and a great location- just a short walk to the beach and a short walk to Manuel Antonio national park. Our room was nice- very clean. The swimming pool is lovely. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for two nights after a long but great group tour through Costa Rica. Our previous hotel was out in the middle of nowhere and very basic, so for us this hotel was pure luxury. Beds were comfortable, the rooms were large and the air conditioner was working perfectly and silently. The only downside was that there was... More

Quite small rooms but so close to the National Park. Very quiet location and although staff were friendly they are trying to sell the hotel so not much personal, friendly service compared to other similar hotels. Lovely to hear birds and also howler monkeys each day.

Very basic hotel. No beside cabinets or bedside lights, so we used torches to read our books with the main light on (which was nearer the door than our beds), then one of us would get up to turn off the light when we wanted to go to sleep. Our room was on the ground floor, over-looking the car park,... More

Hotel has a large "palapa-style" restaurant visible from the road (did not stay at hotel). Ate 2 times at the restaurant - food was great both times. This restaurant is about a block from the park entrance, and about 25 meters off of the road. The large green roof and many fans make it a cool spot for food &... More

to restore our energy after spending 3 hours round Manuel Antonio National Park, so we popped in here for a bit of lunch. I really enjoyed the Caesar salad, loads of chicken, although it could've done with a bit more bacon, & a lot less lettuce, but one of the best! We also enjoyed a couple of beers with our... More

I had just hiked the park and hungry, I saw an excellent price on a fish typical casado plate. It turned out to be fresh water Tilapia... although we were just meters from the beach... And the typical beans rice etc which were also very mediocre in their flavor. I left most of the food on the plate, paid and... More

Clean, small but nice pool, restaurant on the premises, walking distance to the beaches. Older motel so dated, it was undergoing some work as it was for sale. Staff were helpful and friendly but by the time we got here at the end of our trip I adjusted my expectations. It was the most expensive place we stayed at, maybe... More

A very comfortable motel-style hotel with clean, roomy accommodation and a pleasant dining area. The open air pool was very welcome after a hot day's travelling and the hotel was handily placed for guided tours in the fascinating Manuel Antonio National Park. Recommended if visiting the park and you also want to be close to the coast.

I read reviews of the hotel prior to our stay there and I got the impression that the hotel is not good. The truth is there’s still a sign For sell outside but by the attitude of staff one can not say that they neglect the guests. The personnel is “weak” in English, only the receptionist speaks English. We spent... More
