In my view, Costa Linda does have an endearing charm about it. The main hotelier is really helpful and friendly, but also extremely busy and so spends a lot of time running around doing almost everything in the backpackers. This place is cheap and only 10 mins from the front of the Manuel Antonio park and 5 mins from the... More

Costa Linda hostel, although not the neatest place, offers great value for price. For $12/night you can have your own private room, with a ceiling fan. The hostel offers large breakfasts for less than $3. Great location: it's close to Manuel Antonio National Park and only a few minutes walk from the beach. A good budget hotel.

Worst hostel ever. Where to even begin.. There is NO KITCHEN. So you have to eat out for every meal (right there $12/night isn't even worth it, as you spend at least another $10/day on food if you only eat once). The rooms are absolutely disgusting, you don't even want to put your bag on the ground. Our room also... More

Backpackers paradise.. More like backpackers hell. I am a pretty lenient person when it comes to hostels, so to even write a review, the hostel has to be either absolutely wonderful.. Or absolutely terrible. Hotel Costa Linda Backpackers Paradise was hell. The entire place smelled like an outhouse the whole time we were there. Our room consisted of two bunk... More

We didn't stay here, but enjoyed more than a few beers and good food. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the beer cold as can be. Highly recommended and we would very definitely return if we are ever back in Manuel Antonio

I have booked this place for 10 days during my stay in Manual Antonio. The owner is not a good person at all . Their are many Cockroaches and the up keep with them is poor. In the evening their all over the place. waking up in the middle of the night doesn't help when you need to use the... More

Given the rock-bottom price I almost can't believe how good this place is. Unlike most budget hotels the owners have put a lot of love and attention into Costa Linda, like the lovely river stone murals in the bathrooms (which do not reek btw). The rooms are small and simple but very clean and most have ceiling fans. The staff... More

100m from the beach in the village of manuel antonio, you won't find cheaper. The people working here are really nice, and the restaurant is very good and cheap (big breakfast, good food, good mojitos). The rooms and bathroom are not good, but enough to sleep (no hot water). For the price it's ok.

The location of that place is really great: 3mins walking distance to the beach and even less to the National Park. However, the place is not only rusty, but really disgusting. My room was not only dirty but also smelly, there wasn't any kind of furniture but a "bed" (with a mattress that is almost non existing and made my... More

We didn't stay at the hostel, but we frequented the bar during our stay in Manuel Antonio. The staff is friendly, the drinks are cheap, and there's free wifi in a comfortable, chill, semi-outdoor atmosphere. What more could a traveler really ask for?
