On a tour of Costa Rica with Caravan Tour. This hotel was at the end of the 9 day tour and it was such a nice place to stay. Next to the national park and within walking distance of the beach. The sunset on the 6th floor was definitely worth the stay. Our room was on the first floor (which... More

If you are visiting or plan to visit Costa Rica, and will visit the Manuel Antonio National Park, this is the place to stay. You will be 50' from the entrance to the park and can be the first to enter the Park (opens at 7:00AM). Take a dip in the ocean before 8:00AM. It also has access to the... More

Hotel San Bada is right next to the park entrance which was helpful on Labor Day when there were lines to get in. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. The room had the biggest most comfortable bed I've ever stayed in! There are 2 pools one is adults only which was appreciated when many kids were playing at the... More

My wife and I stayed here one night as part of a 9 day Caravan tour across Costa Rica. This Hotel was very convenient to Manuel Antonio National Park. The views from the 6th floor bar and lounge were really stunning...we watched the sunset up there and took some amazing pictures. The room was unique...large, comfortable furniture...and culturally authentic touches... More

This was my first trip to Costa-Rica. My husband was there many years ago. We have been looking for some good hotel close to the Manuel Antonio Park, and we found in the internet the hotel San Bada, which is impressive in its architecture and just at the entrance to the park. Our hopes to enjoy our stay in that... More

Room was large enough and did have a couple of chairs. Good air conditioning. Free wifi and it actually worked very well. Bed was a bit hard. Bathroom was not that nice. Sink was difficult to use. No ice machines. Food only fair for tour groups. It is very convenient to visit the national park. The park is right at... More

We stayed here one night while traveling through Costa Rica with Caravan Tours. The hotel is located adjacent to an entrance to the Manuel Antonio National Park. All we had to do was walk from the hotel building, down the driveway, out the gate, turn right and walk into the park entrance. Couldn't have been closer without staying in a... More

Spent ten lovely days at the hotel San Bada. A very convenient location next to the Manuel Antonio National Park and nearby beaches. Our first few days were spent relaxing after traveling from San Francisco. Easy to do as we immersed ourselves in the local culture, idyllic beaches and hotel amenities including two pools, restaurant, spa, on site gym and... More

I traveled to the Hotel San Bada with 2 tour groups. There were over 40 people in each group. We spent 3 nights here. On the plus side, the staff was a joy to deal with. A server named Maykel went out of his way to make guests happy. There were many others that contributed to a positive experience. The... More
