It is sad that this experience was only average when I stayed at the hotel recently. It is in a perfect location, overlooking the beach. The following are things that I observed as deficient. 1) The swimming pool area is totally slimy. The floors of the pool, and benches. Clean them up. There is this brown scum on the bottom... More

I loved this hotel. The pool had three waterfalls, and I used each one to have a water massage. They actually have benches under the waterfalls so one can sit under it. The pools were clean, but the water temp was low. Even hot tub water was cool. Walk off the property and onto the property of the beautiful Manuel... More

Hotel is in an excellent location steps outside the Manuel Antonio Park. Beautiful room with balcony. Nice & cold air conditioner! Be sure to go up to the 6th floor for beautiful views! Very nice & friendly hotel staff.

The hotel is situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean and the entrance to the Park is outside the front gate! The staff are professional and friendly and attentive to every need (there are very things they didn't think if first!). The rooms were luxurious and modern and food in the restaurant was very authentic and expertly prepared. You will... More

I just got back from my honeymoon in Costa Rica and Hotel San Bada was our last stop. This is the perfect place to end the adventure. The hotel has amazing views, great beaches, and the national park is right there. You can just walk to either one. There staff was very friendly and helpful. The honeymoon service was over... More

This was one of my favorite hotels because the monkeys reside in the trees right in the back of the hotel. If you get up at around 5 AM you will see the monkeys moving and waking up. Many of the monkeys will come over and actually come onto the hotel balcony so be careful. The hotel has a lovely... More

The owner of this hotel is very lucky with his great staff. Christian Porras is so impressive! Great room, good food, nice view, nice pools but the staff made all the difference. Derek and Jeffrey were also extremely helpful and pleasant. Didn't come across one employee who wasn't above-average. Thank you all for making the trip to Costa Rica more... More

We felt very comfortable staying at this four star hotel overlooking the rainforest of the park, it was recommended by friends that visited it on a tour. We enjoyed so much the idea of the proximity to the national park and saving time in taking a bus or taxi. Our room in the 3 floor suited us fine with views... More

This place has a great location, close to the nice beach of the national park. The other beach is public. We stayed on the second floor, nice wood bed, nice bed sheets, high ceiling, and the bathroom was nice. The staff is very friendlym they were always greeting us.
