This hotel is located at the end of the road, at the top of the hill next to the entrance of the Manuel Antonio National Park. I stayed here for one night as part of Caravan Tours. Despite a third floor room with great views into the park from both the front door and the back deck, I never saw... More

We enjoyed this hotel. Beautiful view from the rooftop bar area. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Being right next to Manuel Antonio Park was very convenient. We could hear the howler monkeys in the morning and spotted a number of birds. The pool area was nice. Although the walk to the public beach was short, it was... More

What I liked: 1. New water saving toilets 2. Amazing views of wildlife - can see howler and squirrel monkeys and toucans from rooftop bar 3. Drinks at Caravan Happy hour were pretty good - nice pina col ado - just use bug spray during and after sunset. 4. Literally right next to Manuel Antonio park - prime location. 5.... More

We only stayed here for 2 nights while on a 9 day bus tour with Caravan Tours to Costa Rica. The place looks fairly attractive and a bit impressive but looks are a bit deceiving. The property is old but has been improved and tweaked over the years. It has 1 horrible tiny elevator serving the whole building and this... More

Nice hotel that is literally next to the National Park. The pool area is fun with apretty awesome water slide and a pool bar. The complimentary breakfast was good and the restaurant was okay. Some service was very good but not consistent.

An excellent hotel. The room is beautiful. It is easily cooled. The beds were comfortable. The sheets were nice and soft. The food was 4 of 5. The happy hour has delicious drinks with the sunset as the background. All workers were courteous, helpful, and friendly. The pool was nice alternative if you didn't want to head to the beach.

The Congo restaurant in the San Bada Hotel has great food and excellent staff. one staff member who consistently went above and beyond was Maykel Cerdas. This young man was not only very personable but also extremely attentive no matter how busy the restaurant became. In our three day stay, we were able to chat with him several times and... More

This is a well run wonderful hotel with outstanding service. Wildlife surrounds the hotel with howler monkeys just outside your windows. There are sloths, iguanas and amazing birding in the area. This property is located adjacent to the gate to Manuel Antonio Park which is an unbelievable experience in itself. The sunsets from the 6th floor bar and pool are... More

Wonderful hotel with great service and a view of the sunset unsurpassed from the 6th floor bar. Monkeys out your window, sloths nearby and of course the iguanas. Some people did have some bugs in the rooms which was not surprising but it was not really a problem. Beds were clean and comfortable, showers hot and drinks very good
