We stayed a single night here. the place is nice and fancy. It was worth the price. The facility does stand apart for those wanting a fancy post-modern hotel. However, we wanted the costa rican experience, and this felt artificial. Most folks will probably really like it though.

Dear Brad, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of you stay at Hotel Plaza Yara. We appreciate the compliments and you are correct that most of our guests really enjoy their stay. Hotel Plaza Yara is not an eco-lodge but we are commited to our guests having a Costa Rican experience at our hotel. We would... More

Friendly staff, beautiful location and nice Spacious rooms with a safe, AC, & small refrigerator. Took the bus to the beach, which is about a 7 minute ride and the only downfall to Plaza Yara. No elevators. Nice Art gallery in office with items for sale

Super clean, affordable are really nice! No ocean views, but the ambiance of the place in general is calming and pleasant. Your room will have a view of the jungle and maybe the small pool. The monkeys will swing from the chandeliers in the morning on the back deck. The rooms are something special. Really big and clean. The rooms... More

We had a great time at this hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was friendly, access to the bus towards the national park was close, and the breakfast was really nice. The staff was helpful in storing our luggage after we checked out while we went exploring. Air conditioning worked great, had a nice little fridge in the unit.... More

Great staff, nice room, great place to unwind from the activities during the day. They offered a nice breakfast and you could order ahead if you had activities early the next morning. Very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.

Best place to stay in Manuel Antonio. The rooms are amazing - huge and clean and the staff is so nice. They helped us a lot and gave us whatever we need. Suite 4 was perfect with a perfect view of the jungle. The breakfast was really nice too. Truly amazing! Perfect for honeymooners !

We just left Yara after a 4 night stay and I miss it so much already. This is absolutely the best place to stay of you are in the Manuel Antonio area. The rooms are huge as mentioned by others, and the A/C works well. The decor is beautiful and a little eclectic with an emphasis on art which I... More

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the happiest, puddgiest, and waggliest dog of all time, Mariel. She is the sweetest dog ever created. Anyway, we arrived at the hotel few hours before the actual check-in time. The staff (forgot his name, sorry) was very cooperative and generous enough to check-in at the time of the arrival. He explained everything that... More
