I loved my stay at this hostel. The location is SUPER convenient. It is right across the street from the bus stop into Quepos and right next to the bus stop to the beach. There is a grocery store across the street and two restaurants upstairs. I felt really safe in this hostel. The environment was really welcoming and friendly... More

Clean and nice rooms, although the privates are a little overpriced. Big and nice garden with hammocks, great view and a pool, altough we didn't swim there because you are obligated to buy drinks at the pool bar if you want to swim. Location is great, the restaurant next door serves great food and there is a supermarket across the... More

We stayed 4 nights at the hostel in February 2014. Our private room was small and basic, but that was all we needed. The social environment was great and we enjoyed meeting other people. The bus stops right outside the hostel, and we never waited for more than five minutes. The restaurant above the hostel was decent, and we really... More

In fact, we didn't stay there. And we are not of the picky types; we stay in simple hostels and B&Bs. Only stay if you are on a very tight budget and there is nothing left. Also, make sure you have a reservation. We did not have one; in fact, I was told I did not need one by email.... More

The staff is friendly. The room was just fine. The bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good, if unimaginative. I would recommend having a little fruit there. The views are good. Transportation access is excellent. What else do you want for $20/night??

A friend and I stayed here for 6 nights and very much enjoyed our stay! It was our first hostel for our 3 month trip and set the standard. We didn't expect our hostel to have a pool overlooking the Pacific as well as a free breakfast! Great staff who are very friendly and helpful ! Our room was great,... More

This hostel exceeded my expectations. It was my first hostel for my 3 month trip and it definitely set the bar for the rest to follow. It has a great outdoor kitchen that is fully equipped, minus an oven. Its decently clean and has three fridges, however, fridge space is limited depending on how busy the hostel is. The rooms... I stayed here for 1 night (jan 2014). The room was like a prison and the bed basically had a whole rather than a dip in the mattress. It was clear my bedding hadn't been washed and the sheet stank so much that I decided to use my sarong instead. The bar doesn't do food/ snacks and only serves beer... More

I had no exceptaction when I got there. It is well located, close to the beach. The staff did not help us much, no body there was able to have a full conversation in English. It en it up that we have been told wrong informations about the buses we needed to take on our way to Santa Elena. According... More

Stayed here three nights, but probably would have moved elsewhere had it not been peak season. The room was ok - basic, but fine - and the pool was nice, as others have said. Unfortunately the internet never worked while we were there (including the computers at the front desk), the hot water was spotty, and breakfast was a tub... More
