july 2 2008 i had stayed the last 3 years at a tent camp next to the corcovado park. the costa rican south pacific is the best place in costa rica because of its remotness. i was searching the golfo dulce and piedras blancas area on google earth. google earth has enhanced software that lets you go down to 300ft.... more

Owners Barbara and Harvey accomodated all of our needs and provided outstanding meals perfectly prepared with fresh fruit, fish, lobster, wonderful sauces, appetizers and incredible deserts (homemade ice cream of many varieties, flan, etc.). We were one of the first couples to stay at the newly refurbished lodge at Saladero in December. It was better than we expected.
