We spent three nights at Rafiki in late June. It was wonderful. The food was fab! All of us including our three kids loved it. The adventures were great. We went rafting one day. Had a blast! Another day we road horses to the top of a mountain. It was a great experience! The staff was terrific and really went... More

This was an absolutely wonderful vacation experience...a great combination of active adventure, nature, rest and luxurious pampering--yes, in a tent! The family and staff are so welcoming and are perceptive to the needs of a group of people. The food was delicious and presentation was superb! We went horseback riding to our whitewater rafting drop spot, visited an awesome waterfall,... More

We've planned a 4 night stay in Manuel Antonio, but after arriving decided that 4 was 5 to much. Therefore we did a quick websearch and found Rafiki. Loki (the owner) told us there was plenty of space left so we moved on to... the most amazing place in Costa Rica! Loki (and his family / team) has done a... More

I found out about Rafiki Safari Lodge through a friend in the area and was glad they introduced me to this amazing spot. My boyfriend and I had several amazing meals with local flare while taking in the incredible view the main lodge offers. We also took advantage of the rafting expertise of one of the lodge owners and headed... More

We were a group of people from around the world, studying and living in Quepos for a month, and we went to Rafiki for a weekend getaway. Best decision ever! Our driver picked us up as planned, making logistics easy, and he imparted interesting facts about the countryside on the drive to the lodge. Once we arrived, we liking zooming... More

Great place for everyone looking to escape from the city and having a blast. From our arrival all the staff was more than great, from the owners that took care of all our needs to the cooks that served us great food with some South African dishes that we really enjoy, everything was perfect. You can notice that the owners... More

We did not stay here. They run whtewater rafting trips from here. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There were enough rapids so the trip was fun but this was not an extreme experience -- even first timers would enjoy. They did give us a tour of the rooms. For the adventerous this would be a wonderful honeymoom.spot. The rooms were... More

Rafiki is, at one time, charming, fascinating and exciting. The hosts are very kind and interesting persons, with the charm of highly educated people in extremly wild places. This is an incredible place to go.

Our family just returned from a 12 day trip to Costa Rica. We went to three different places: Arenal (Volcano Lodge), Rafiki and then Tamarindo (Capitan Suizo) While the other hotels were very nice, Rakifi gave us a once in a lifetime experience. First of all, Lautjie (the owner) and his team couldn't have been nicer. Their passion for Rafiki... More

I just returned from visiting the Rafiki Lodge last week. I am already dreaming and planning my return trip! We were stopped in a restaurant in Manuel Antonio by a lady raving about her experience and so with that we decided to take a chance and I am so thankful we did! The Boshoff family is warm, inviting, educated about... More
