Our room in Casa Marbella was on the second floor over looking the river. It was clean with a large bathroom. The breakfast was nice and we especially enjoyed the pancakes. We took the Casa Marbella’s morning boat nature tour with Roberto who was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately we didn't see many animals apparently due to the rain that almost never... More

Staying at Casa Marbella right now, for 3 nights with my husband, 3 kids and my parents and its perfect. Daryl Loth and staff, (Nelda, Janice) are exceptional, friendly hosts that run a top notch operation. 26 years ago I stayed at Tortuga Lodge as a teenager and at the time it was the only game in town. I wanted... More

Casa Marbella is very good value for the money. It is a straight forward clean, friendly and helpful place to stay in the village. This is better than one of the lodges further along as there is the chance to experience the local culture and choose a different place to eat each night. The river guided tour and jungle day... I stayed with my family in a family room with space for 5 people. It was clean and I got nothing to complain about. You get good value for the money. It is not a 5-star hotel/lodge but it's one of the best B&B I've ever been to. The service is great. You will hear people talking on the street... More

This place is really a pearl in Tortuguero. Simple but very priceworth. The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast included, simple but good and tasteful. The family who owns the place is really nice. Casa Marbella also have tours in the national park which I can recommend. The guides have good knowledge of the nature. I have nothing to complain... More

We had read so many good comments about Casa Marbella that we decided to book 2 nights here. We didn't regret it at all!! The room was nice, clean, breakfast very good, service really good too! The terrace with the river view is outstanding, you can just grab a beer at the supermarket and enjoy it there!

Ok..5 visits/stays and I'm still planning another in a couple-3 months. Simply stated Daryl Loth runs a clean, safe, comfortable and friendly B&B. He makes it a point to meet with each person sharing his endless knowledge about the town and making them feel as welcome as possible. Without a doubt it's wonderful to rise to the smell of coffee,... More

Casa Marbella is located right in Tortuguero. There is not much to the town but everything is within walking distance. We arrived by water taxi from the airport just in time for breakfast. Our breakfasts for the days we were there were pancakes the first day and eggs and toast the next. It was accompanied by fruit, juice and coffee.... More

We were very lucky that we found Casa Marbella as it was one of the best accomodations during our whole three-month trip. The room was beautiful, bright and clean. And even as a budget traveller it is affordable to stay there. It is a very welcome relief from a usual hostel!
