The hotel is situated very close to where the boats deliver you to the village. There is a concrete walkways through the village that takes you straight to the hotel. The rooms are simple and clean, but sufficient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast (which is included) is delicious consisting of two course courses - fruit followed... More

We enjoyed the spacious room, the view from the porch, the guided tour, the yummy breakfasts, the heated shower, the creatively folded towels, meeting other guests, and especially the free canoe. We wish to return.

Nice hotel on the waterfront (though they probably all are in Tortuguero) with a room efficient for 5 of us (wife and three children). The staff was great, especially Daryl Loth, the proprietor, who always made sure we had everything to please us. The tour offered from the hotel was really enjoyable. The price was great. If I ever I... More

Everything about the Casa is good. Location, staff, rooms... They change linen and towels everyday, which is very convenient when it's so wet (simply amazing how they fold them in all kinds of shapes, even an alligator!!!). Breakfast just by the river (or channel, or lake, whatever it is) is superb. I don't give the 'excellent' rate because they told... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Marbella - nice clean rooms with hot showers, right by the canal. The B&B is conveniently located, the breakfast was super yummy, and the price was a steal for what we were getting. I wish I could have stayed longer at Tortuguero!

Our room in Casa Marbella was on the second floor over looking the river. It was clean with a large bathroom. The breakfast was nice and we especially enjoyed the pancakes. We took the Casa Marbella’s morning boat nature tour with Roberto who was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately we didn't see many animals apparently due to the rain that almost never... More

Staying at Casa Marbella right now, for 3 nights with my husband, 3 kids and my parents and its perfect. Daryl Loth and staff, (Nelda, Janice) are exceptional, friendly hosts that run a top notch operation. 26 years ago I stayed at Tortuga Lodge as a teenager and at the time it was the only game in town. I wanted... More

Casa Marbella is very good value for the money. It is a straight forward clean, friendly and helpful place to stay in the village. This is better than one of the lodges further along as there is the chance to experience the local culture and choose a different place to eat each night. The river guided tour and jungle day... I stayed with my family in a family room with space for 5 people. It was clean and I got nothing to complain about. You get good value for the money. It is not a 5-star hotel/lodge but it's one of the best B&B I've ever been to. The service is great. You will hear people talking on the street... More
