This lodge was simple, but beautiful in every regard! The scenery was breathtaking and we were close to many animals on this property! The service was wonderful and all planned trips were great as well! They feed u well here and my kids were well entertained throughout. Ronny did a great job seeing us thru from arrival to departure via... More

Our visit to Costa Rica started in this amazing lodge, and I couldn't have asked for a better start to our trip. The location is incredibly remote, so you get an all inclusive package; including lodging, meals, and activities. We started our trip in San Jose, and took a bus to the small little restaurant/shop next to the river where... More

The service staff and guides are friendly and attentive. Boating in to a lodge is a great experience. There were monkeys everywhere across the resort every day. The 3 free meals are spaced 5-6 hours apart and there's no extra food for sale or available at all during the day if you're the type who eats more often, so I... More

Visiting Costa Rica must include this area as nature is amazing. The location is remote and pachira offer a well organized package. Their 2 nights plan include everything you need to see in the area. The down sides should not prevent you from visiting with them as it looks that they are the leaders In the area and overall they... More

The location of the lodge is perfect right in the national park, just off the river. The pool and bar are a great area to relax. The cabins were comfortable and spacious, with two double beds. The food was all buffet style and very tasty. We had a guide, Giovanni, who was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, get... More

The people is so gentle that you can feel so comfortable. The food is awesome and the accommodation is simple but clean and tidy. You should take insect repellent necessary, and is not for people who is looking for something elegant. The place is amazing, you can enjoy so close the nature (the trees, insects, reptiles, mammals, vegetation).

We spent two nights here over Memorial Day weekend so we could go tarpon fishing. Everyone at Pachira was highly organized from the reservations dept to the drivers to the boat captains to the hotel - very impressive. The journey to get there only takes about 5-6 hours, but that includes stops for breakfast and both the van and boat... More

We had a very busy start to our Costa Rica trip - 8 hotels in 10 days before we settled into a beach stay. This was lodge number two- no frills, basic but met all requirements. No telephone- didn't need it, no toiletries - the wall dispenser sufficed, no hot water in the plugless sink but there was hot water in the... Pachira Lodge was a jungle paradise composed of elevated bungalows and a huge property. To get there, you have to take a boat - there are no roads - with your luggage at Guapiles along a series of canals until you reach this hotel. There are 4 plex bungalows and single bungalows and each is camouflaged by incredibly beautiful plants... More

The wood cabins of Pachira Lodge are conveniently situated in groups of four in the Totuguera National Park. The cabins are clean, but basic and each has two double beds. There is no TV, fridge or coffee making facilities in the rooms, but free WiFi and coffee are available at reception. All meals are taken buffet style and the food... More
