We came here for a one night stay through Jungle Tom Safaris. The lodge was great! Wi fi was u reliable, but that's all the "negative" comment we have! The food was fine, the staff friendly, the installations nice and clean, the pool awesome. Great jungle experience, the first one for our 8 and 10 year old. Oh, I guess... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our say at evergreen lodge, this a beautiful spot, lots of howler monkeys, and spider monkeys and many many more animals, this a really nice introduction to Costa Rica, and the rainforest, the rooms are rustic with sceens that allow the sounds of nature, the staff are wonderful, the food was great, great place... After a fascinating boat trip from a makeshift harbour through rainforest we arrived at the Evergreen Lodge to be greeted by a fruit drink. A short welcome and then off to our rooms. Yes they are basic, set amongst well kept gardens but they were fine (although the shower - clean - did give off an 'interesting aroma'!) The pool... More

Just spent 2 nights at the Evergreen Lodge. A relatively small, ecofriendly lodge with a number of separate cabins within the grounds. The setting is beautiful and the rooms are simple but clean and well maintained. All meals are included and the food is good. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Evergreen Lodge is a superb place to get away from it all and enjoy the lush experience of the rainforest! The bungalows are grouped in 4-room units with porches in front of each room. The lodge rooms are all connected by a series of boardwalks, which are great places to watch monkeys and lizards. The bungalows are interspersed with lush... More

My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights as part of a tour group. Our room, in the 40's, was a standard room, large, about 400 SF, including a 50 SF bathroom with a shower big enough for a family. The bathroom had no hooks or shelf space. Just outside were a few shelves and a few hangers. The... More

Very nice hotel and what an incredible place to stay ! You need to leave any car as the only way to get there is by boat ! Departing and arriving from boat dock is the worst part of the trip as many people are arriving together and because there was no concrete dock. you have to carry your bag... More

This place is away from this world. Great location, great staff, rain, monkeys, canals, good food, disconnected of everything!!! The place you need to escape from stress. People is very nice and kind. Pachira agency is very professional and they have very good prices. Highly recommended!!

What an amazing place Evergreen Lodge is. From the moment we arrived on the boats we were transported into another world of birds, insects, monkeys, trees (and mosquitos). Our lodge was simple but effective and our only tiny criticism would be the total lack of hanging space. However, that said we absolutely loved it. We saw and heard so much.... More
