We spent our Honeymoon in the South Caribbean. Azania offers the visitor fantastic luxury bungalows, distributed throughout a property with amazing garden, well taken care of but jungle inspired, not too manicured either. The lodge is just 50 yards from the amazing beach of Cocles. The pool, fresh water Jacuzzi and garden just enhance the entire stay, giving you a... More

We arrived at Azania Bungalows after a very long day of travel at about 1am. Security opened the gate, showed us to our bungalow, made sure we had what we needed and left. All we had to do was crash into our very comfortable beds and fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle surrounding us. We awoke refreshed, and... More

I was there for 2 nights. I really liked the garden and the private hammock each bungalow had. The distance to the beach is very short, to the centre of Puerto Viejo its a little bit dangerous walk at night (because of the traffic) but the staff will call you a taxi (4$ ride). They have mosquito nets and fans.... More

We stayed here for two nights. We got a lodge and it was just perfect. We had a car with us and could visit and dine in the city every night. If you don't have a car you can grab a taxi. The breakfest was very good. Each day you can choose your breakfast for the next day. Only small... More

I really liked Azania Bungalows. The individual bungalows are amazing, with the screens letting you hear the noise from the jungle. Bungalows are nice, too. I had no trouble with hot water - it was hot whenever I needed it hot. I used the hammock several times. The staff here is great. The helped with tours and answered any questions... More

This hotel was chosen by the tour package company that I had booked with, and after reading the reviews I was a bit apprehensive - especially about the food, but on the contrary I found the food perfectly acceptable and good value in comparison with other places. Also the staff were extremely helpful and freindly. Breakfast was fine and lunch... More

Azania bungalows are located in a beautiful, lush landscaped property right across the road from Playa Cocles. The individual bungalows are simply furnished and will sleep several people on one double bed and two single beds, although the bed in the loft requires a climb straight up a wooden ladder, The bungalows are screened, (no windows), offer no real views,... We just got back from a week in Costa Rica! The trip was everything we were promised! We stayed at Azania Bungalows in the Turtle Suite. The Atmosphere are Relaxed, Peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for... the open air bungalows offered a real feeling of being out in the jungle. Each night were lulled to sleep listening to... After a 5 hour road trip we arrived at Azania Bungalows. This is a low key resort across from Play Cocles. We could hear the ocean from our bungalow. Our bungalow was simple, with a queen sized bed, another single bed and a loft with another single bed. The bathroom had a great shower . The resort has a nice... More

Stayed here with my 16 year old daughter. Beautiful. Loud if you don't like listening to wildlife, no windows, just screens so really like sleeping in the rainforest. Large ceiling fans that keep the room cool at night and mosquito nets. Very clean, food was very good and there are also great places nearby to eat. Wifi only available in... More
