We went there for three nights during the Holy Week this year (a few weeks ago) , and it was absolutely perfect! We loved the place. Everyone there was willing to help.. First two nights we had a room with private bathroom and we loved it so much we stayed for an extra night but we had to change to... More

Friendly and accommodating staff. Located close to the water max. 5 minute walk to center of town. Stayed 3 nights, first in a private room with queen+single bed with my two friends and then in 2 separate rooms in the shared bathroom corridor. The former was $58 and the latter $35 each. Would give the rooms with shared bathroom a... More

This hostel keeps its prices incredibly fair, the rooms have everything you could need and the staff are lovely. Mosquito nets above the bed, a fan which was enough for us, we even slept without it (mid January) and a fabulous seating area downstairs to chill out in and plan more of our trip. The location of the hostel is... More

Upon arrival, nobody was at the counter. After waiting for quite a while, someone showed up and brought us to our room. There was one fan and two mosquito nets in the room. Clearly I can't blame this on the hostel, but the tropical heat was unbearable at night, to the point where, even with the fan, my best friend... More

We stayed at Coconut Grove for three nights. It has a very nice and safe location, close to the beach and all the shops you need like a bakery next to the hostal. We spotted some nice animals in the little garden of the hostal, like a little green frog with black spots on it. Also a really big krab... More

I stayed with my friends and partner here. The cabin was cosy and comfortable it had lots of character. Hot at times but obviously this is expected in the jungle. The fan worked very well at night along with the mosquito net. The shared bathroom was adequate with a constant supply of hot water. The service was great from the... More

Stayed here for 2 nights after coming from San Jose. It's pretty close to the centre of town, maybe a 5 min walk from all the 'action'. I stayed in a double room with a fan. There is a mosquito net over the bed which is quite useful as my friends got bitten quite a lot in Puerto. The room... More

I stayed there for 2 weeks in June 2014 when I was volunteering at the Jaguar Rescue Center. The room is clean, equiped with a fan and mosquito net. Room is cleaned every day and you get new towels. There is often somebody available in case you need anything although this is no 24/7 hotel. The B&B stands at 10... More

Every day your room gets cleaned and you get fresh towels, which we find really nice, since the Caribbean is hot, and you've got sand all over the place. It's very central, you can reach everything by foot. Our biggest impression was the friendliness of the owner and staff. Whatever problem or question we had, the owner, Heidi, would offer... More
