I stayed 2 nights at Larry. I totally recommend it for travellers looking for a budget place to stay and don't want to stay at a hostel. My room had cable, wifi and a hot water shower. It's simple but very worth it. The staff is very gentle and friendly, especially Sheila. My towels were changed every morning and my... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the cabins here for 3 nights during our time in Puerto Viejo. The cabin was exactly what we needed and at a great price. The room and bathroom were both clean. There was hot water, a fan and tv in the room and outside the room a hammock and a shared kitchen.... More

We stayed 4 nights here. We wanted to stay at hostal pagalu, which is about $10 cheaper a night, but unfortunately it was booked out. We looked around a few places and decided cabinas larry was the next best option at USD$35 a night. Room was clean with TV and en suite. Wifi worked well in room. Small but functional... More

We found this place when we wanted move to a hostel in town and it was a great spot. The staff don't speak English, but they try and you can get by. We got a very good deal on our 3 person room just for 4 nights. Rooms are baisc, but clean and comfy. There is a fan in each... More

We stayed here for two nights while in Puerto Viejo. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and had a lovely hammock out the front. Our bathroom was super clean and our room was brightly painted in big, bold colours. Location is great - super close and within walking distance to restaurants, the beach, and town. We had problems with our key... More

Best to stay away, cabinas are average in price, but in a good location close to eateries, beach. Stayed one month, best service was from the two ladies working there. Reported some lost stuff from accommodations, never got a satisfactory response.

We stayed 5 nights there. We liked Puerto Viejo and this Cabinas. The are big and cleane, hot water, hammocks, cable TV, wifi. With small shared kitchen, but is enougt. When you would like have some private space the Cabinas are the best choise in the town.

You can't beat $10 per person for a clean private room with private bathroom, (noisy) ceiling fan, shared kitchen, hammocks, cable TV and fast wifi! They also clean the rooms daily and will change the towels if you ask. Right in the center of town, next to Bread and Chocolate. There's a gate that they close at night, so you... More

We stumbled across this place after visiting at least ten dirty grimy hostels around the area. Was the cleanest and most modern we found, for the price of $26 a night with private bathroom it was a bargain considering the competition. Good wifi, hot water and friendly owners made for a great stay.

We only really wanted these cabinas as a base to come back to at night from all our tours and it served our purpose brilliantly. The Jamaican/costa rican family who run this place are both friendly and professional and will make you feel safe and at home. Safe with a gate at night, good wifi reception, not too far from...
