Nice Property BUT don't leave CC on file (use cash deposit) and take pictures of room before leaving! On the last leg of our trip we stayed here for two nights. I have to say the bungalows are adorable and grounds are maintained really well. However, I got the feeling we would be nickeled and dimed at every turn when... More

Thank you for your review and appreciation on your statement of our place and bungalows. I am glad you liked it! You came through an agency and you booked a bungalow with one double and 2 single beds .You were asking about A/C and I told you to change in a room with A/C with one queen bed, but I... More

We have been to Costa Rica a number of times and found Coco Loco to be the best option "in town" for the price. The AC is extra and is a nice touch, but not necessary). Overall the rooms are pretty, clean, safe, and private. En-suite bathrooms are nice as well. My favorite part about Coco Loco is the location...a... More

I loved this place and wish we could have stayed longer but they were booked! Always a good sign especially in the slow season. The front desk guys could not have been more helpful, and hooked us up with a super comfortable room with a giant porch complete with plenty of furniture and a sturdy hammock. The room was sexy... Spent 3 nights there beginning of June. The "cabin" was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom was small but served it's purpose. The beds had mosquito nets so that was good as there were more mosquitoes than I could handle. Breakfast is not included in the price - but for US $7 pp, we got fresh fruit, cereal, coffee, eggs the way... More

We stayed in a room with optional A/C. At first, we opted to not pay the extra for the ac as most places we go in Costa Rica we are fine with just a fan. This was not the case in our particular room. Although I must say that we didn't have one of those stand up, oscillating fans in... More

We had traveled by car all over Costa Rica. We stayed in local places everywhere with varying results. Without question, Coco Loco was the best. it is located a few blocks from the beach so everything is walkable but quiet. Our bungalow was immaculate. In fact, everything was immaculate. The bungalows offer privacy while the footpaths and the open-air lobby... More

We stayed at Coco Loco for 4 nights in May 2014 (couple in our late 20s). The staff was really friendly and helpful upon arrival. Our private bungalow was fantastic! Everything we had hoped it to be. We opted out of the A/C and didn't need it at all. There is a large fan on the wall pointing at the... More

We stayed here five nights in May showed up without a reso and they were able to accommodate us! We did two nights no AC and then three nights with AC, we were comfortable without it but since we didn't have a reso we had to change rooms so we splurged! The rooms were clean, gorgeous little cabins with so... More

We would highly recommend others to stay here. Clean rooms, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, nice patio and great kitchen, beautiful gardens and terrific staff. The staff booked all of our excursions and helped us out when our VISA didn't communicate properly. We found the property to be extremely quiet and very peaceful yet close to all amenities.

We would do 4.5 stars if we could because the negative things are not that big at all. We traveled with our two young kids (9 and 7) in Feb. The cabin was very clean and quite pretty, with super comfortable beds, excellent mosquito nets, hot water, and a fully stocked kitchen (even stocked with a few basics like salt,... More
