This hotel was perfect for me. The staff were fantastic, very helpful. They are obviously part of the community and can put you in touch with the local scoop as well as the tourist oriented packages. Very laid back and easy going. Room was comfortable and kept clean. Easy and safe access to town 24-7. It's in town but not... more

Four of my friends and I stayed at Cabinas Guarana last week during a visit to Costa Rica. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly. The prices are also very reasonable. No air conditioning but that's to be expected at this price. I'd stay here again in a minute and really felt comfortable there. more

My boyfriend and I were at Cabinas Guaraná in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Costa Rica from 11. April till 15 April. i.e. Easter holidays 2009.
