This is our second stay at Korrigan Lodge and we plan to return again and again. We love the jungle setting and close proximity to Punta Uva, a beautiful beach among a string of beautiful beaches. We went during the rainy season, and rain it did! Best time to visit this area for postcard perfect weather on the S. Caribbean... More

I lived in Costa Rica for two years and used to visit punta UVA and the puerto viejo area several times. I have stayed at other hotels, but the korrigan is by far the friendliest, nicest, closet to the best beach. Great for couples and friends! Try it!

Out of the hustle and bustle of Puerto Viejo, this is a great place to really get to be in the noises and the beauty of the jungle. Very clean and nice simple cabins with your own porch and hammock. Breakfast in the morning is good and you are just a short walk from beautiful beaches that are much cleaner... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our holiday. It could be our favourite place of all. It feels more like staying at someones home, Erwan is so welcoming and helpful (we tested him!) He arranged trips, taxi's and early breakfasts for us. The lodges are small but comfortable, though can be humid and a little damp... More

We have been coming to Costa Rica for 9 years and have stayed at dozens of hotels, and Korigan Lodge is definitely one of our favorites! First, the setting: They have kept the forest canopy intact, which is fairly unusual in Costa Rica (you would think that more hotels would do this, but they don't!). Each bungalow is nestled in... We just returned from a wonderful 3 days at Korrigan. Everything was beautiful and the food wonderful. We were 2 adults and 2 children so we stayed in 2 different bungalows. I highly reccomend. The owners, Ingrid and Erwan were so kind and helpful, always there to answer our questions. The beach is a five minute walk from the property.... More

We concur with all the excellent reviews that have already been posted! If you are planning a trip to the Caribbean Coast look no further, excellent accommodation in a great area. In our option Punta Uva is the best spot on the coast, the busier resorts are easily reached but it is quieter, smarter and the beaches are fabulous. Ingrid... More

Have you ever visited a place so magical that no words can really describe it? Well, that’s the kind of place that Korrigan Lodge is – no words truly do it justice! My review is long overdue and it’s partially due to the fact that I couldn’t find the right words for Korrigan Lodge. First, let me tell you that... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Korrigan Lodge this past week. Erwan and Ingrid were incredibly hospitable, and Bassam the dog escorted us to beach every day. The lodge is perfectly located just south of Puerto Viejo, where it's a bit quieter and less touristy. We saw howler monkeys, sloths, and toucans on our very first... More
