I stayed at this hotel and the location is great. right in the heart of the rain forest area. Be warned though. There are no cars here, it's all by boat, which is not a bad thing. The hotel is mid-range and our standard twin room was a decent size but the big thing with this hotel is NO AIR... more

It is quite a long boat trip to the lodge after a likewise long road trip from San Jose. That being said the roads were good at the end of the dry season and the boat ride very scenic. Food is average and plentiful at the buffet and the staff very friendly and helpful. The resort is spread out but... more

This is not a bad place as long as you know what you are getting yourself into. It is a jungle lodge and so they aren't going to be a Ritz Carlton or even a Comfort Inn. It takes about 45min by boat to get there, and you are allowed 25lbs max for your luggage, so you have to pack... more
