I'll start by saying that the people who worked there were very nice to us. Their included breakfast was also very good. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious and they have good Wifi access to use. The beach wasn't as nice and it was covered in driftwood. We stayed in three different places in total during our week in... More

A lovely small hotel with excellent staff who couldn't do enough to help us. The rooms are a good size (bigger than expected) and very clean. This was a great place to stay whilst exploring the Limon/Puerto Viejo area. And is only 5 minutes from the Local airport, so transfers from here are ideal.

- Smelly rooms, walls full of spider nets and need of painting expensive food- comparing with the prices in San Jose Although the hotel is small, its pool and restaurant is full of visitors until 5 pm + The staff is helpful, the food tasty and the small beach is nice -quite wild

After driving for four hours we arrived there past 11am, it was hot and humid, and we were excited to check in, very nice from what we could see from afar and the reviews on TripAdvisor. First, they kept us waiting, then after 10 minutes we were finally greeted by one of the employees,Jonathan Chavarria who came and told us... More

Really beautiful hotel right by the beach. The staff were great; the first thing that happened to us here was that they upgraded us to a suite! The on-site restaurant is really nice (try the patacones and the Cordon Bleu!). This is a really good hotel to relax at. Keep in mind this hotel isn't near much, there is a... More

Hotel is on the main road, near the [tiny] airport, but is quiet. At least, our room next to the pool was. Service is good, breakfast is OK. If you have to stay in/near Limon, it's probably a very good choice.

Quiet and nice small hotel located 10 min drive from Pto Limon. Picterous and romantic view, real Caribbean. The roofed terrace with comfortable chairs is perfect to seat and relax and listen to the sea waves in a dark tropical night. The beach with palm trees is just a couple of dozens of meters away from the rooms. The restaurant... More

Thanks for your kind review! I see that you are from Russia. I hope to travel there someday and hope I enjoy it as much as you enjoyed our little piece of paradise. I will be sure to pass your review on to the staff at the hotel and hope you can come back sometime in the future. Michael More

Limon is a crowded, smelly city so if you are passing through like we were, this is a good place to stay overnight. Rooms were clean, water was hot, AC was working and most of all the staff is incredibly kind! Breakfast is included and you can walk straight out to the beach from the hotel restaurant. There are no... More

Good review. The Caribbean side of Costa Rica is truly a lot different than the Pacific side. Not as many amenities, but it is truly what you want to see when traveling to a foreign country. I don't think you went there just to see if the McDonald's is different than back home, right LOL? On the Caribbean side you... More

Wow. What a great hotel. I only got to spend one night at Playa Westfalia, but wish it could have been more! The hotel is just south of the airport and Puerto Limon. You could easily miss it, as we did, as the entrance and sign are obscured by the tree growth along the road. The parking lot is staffed... More

Spent 2 nights in the spacious first floor suite of this nice and clean beach hotel- overlooking the pool. Although close to main street down to Cahuita it´s quiet and peaceful with quite a lot of birds in the garden. Terrace in front of room is roofed- quite important, as we had a lot of rain ;-). Excellent breakfasts and... More
