Amazing place, next to the park so animals are part of the hotel... we even got the visit of the crocodile, one day, not to mention wake-up call by monkeys, etc. The new owner, Erika is very nice, welcoming, attentive to your needs... and supportive to women-solo-travellers! So, definitely THE place to stay! Katy-Maria!

This is the best location in Cahuita to stay. The rooms are lovely, the food is delicious, and the hosts are fantastic. It is near the entrance of the national park and beach. We've been here a number of times and are never disappointed.

Such a nice dig to stay in--so close to the park! Great grounds to wander on//the heat got me but the AC in our unit was clutch. The garden is an extreme surene spot--I lucked out and copped a discount

I've been to Osa a couple times and wanted to visit the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. Cahuita was my choice. Very much in the Caribbean vein; laid back, easy going, friendly people. Cahuita is a very small town and all the restaurants/bars/souvenire shops are all easily accessed from Kelly Creek. I stayed at Kelly Creek for 4 nights in... More

The location is great, just a stones throw from the national park with it's gorgeous walks, wildlife and beaches. Breakfast was amazing and our host and her menagerie of pets (both wild and tame) made for a great start to our day. Erica was very knowledgable about the area, tours and restaurants. The room was lovely, although the decor in... More

Cahuita is definitely a quirky town. The people are very friendly which coming from London was a nice surprise. Kelly Creek hotel was practicaly at the entrance to Cahuita national park. You couldn't get closer if you tried! The owner Erica is certainly eccentric but very nice and welcoming! The room was lovely and the home made jams at breakfast... More

We stayed three nights here and truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very large and beatiful and the mosquito netting over the beds was lovely and necessary. Steps from the beach and as close as you can get to the national park. Beautiful grounds with lots of interesting wildlife. And two friendly Persian cats wander around. The owner, Erica,... More

We spent 3 nights in Cahuita and stayed at Kelly Creek. The location was awesome, being right by the park and steps to the beach. Our room was very large with a beautiful view of the beach. The mosquito nets and open air windows with just shutters added a lovely touch to the room. I quite liked this. Tons of... More

We could not find the place where we booked (turns out, it was 9km south of cahuita and we were on foot. The owner of Kelly Creek noticed us walking by in the rain and offered her porch and information. She had no rooms available, but after visiting with us a bit, she graciously offered to allow us to stay... More

I stayed here by myself about a month ago. The location was great, but I felt actively judged by the French woman who appeared to be running the place. When she saw me walk in with a backpack, it was almost as if she thought I was going to steal from the place or cause problems or something (even though... More
