We stayed at Kelly Creek Feb 16th for one night. The hotel is located on the edge of a mangrove separating the national park from town, a stones throw from Caribbean Sea. Centrally located,it has four rooms equipped with mosquito nets over the beds. Bathrooms are bright and clean. They have hot water showers. A sloth lives in a tree... More

Stayed at Kelly Creek for a week in February. It was the beginning of our holiday, and whay a great way to start it! Right at the park entrance, which made the location perfect. A short walk from the bus station, if you arrive that way. Most days after a wonderful breakfast, we walked the park for a couple hours,... More

A major pro of this hotel is that it is right next to the national park entrance and the beach. It has spacious rooms, mosquito nets, and the friendly owner provided bottled water for free. The rooms are unique in that the windows have wooden shutters, no glass and no screens. Unfortunately this makes the room very dark, even during... More

My wife and I stayed here on the 4th night and second destination of our honeymoon. Erica made us feel extremely welcome told us a lot about the area. Location wise this place is fantastic, it's right on a small beach front and 30 seconds walk from the national park, we did a trek of the park which took us... More

The cabins are quite amazing. Spacious and nice, comes with a fan and mosquito net ( there are plenty of mosquitos here so make sure to use it!). Very friendly staff: we wanted to do some laundry and the owner called someone to pick it up a few minutes later. Only 4 dollars for a really large bag! The view... More

What a charming little hotel this is!! Just a few steps from the beach, you can have a delicious meal enjoying the ocean view and the monkeys hanging from the trees, and then fall asleep listening to the wonderful sounds of the sea. A cozy wooden hotel surrounded by gardens, with a wonderful restaurant and the best paella in Costa... More

We stayed there for two nights as a party of six people. We have been very pleased. The rooms are nice and clean, the owner very helpful and friendly and the location close to the park is great. I was surprised about the crocodile living directly behind the restaurant but it seams to be a very peaceful and shy animal.... More

Nice wooden house and a very friendly host, very good breakfast and just near the sea and the entrance of the national park. It s a must to Visit the Park with all the animals and plants. THW entrance is free.

Kelly Creek is very different and may not be for everyone. The hotel has only four rooms, but they are very large. However, there is no glass in the windows and also no screen wire. My only complaint was that the rooms were a bit dark, but this seems to be the case in many motels in Costa Rica. We... More

My family loved it here! It's just steps from the beach at Cahuita National Park, and the rooms are spacious and airy--especially great breezes at night. The breakfasts were delicious, and during it we were invited out back to feed crocodiles in the creek. We also saw a capuchin monkey and many birds and crabs. The owner was friendly and... More
