Kelly Creek is very different and may not be for everyone. The hotel has only four rooms, but they are very large. However, there is no glass in the windows and also no screen wire. My only complaint was that the rooms were a bit dark, but this seems to be the case in many motels in Costa Rica. We... More

My family loved it here! It's just steps from the beach at Cahuita National Park, and the rooms are spacious and airy--especially great breezes at night. The breakfasts were delicious, and during it we were invited out back to feed crocodiles in the creek. We also saw a capuchin monkey and many birds and crabs. The owner was friendly and... More

The proprietor Domingo was so warm and welcoming after our very long drive. The hotel had Old World, European charm. We arrived at 10pm exhausted and the place was like a dream. Tip: wear socks to bed because there are teeny mosquitoes who will find you quite delightful. The hotel abuts a national park so the sounds can be wild... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of March and were delighted with our choice. The location is perfect, just yards from the beach and the National Park entrance and a 5 minute stroll along the main street to restaurants etc. The Hotel has a single wooden building for guests set off the ground with... Loved staying here. The hotel is entirely made of wood with large Windows. Very clean. Steps to the beach and the national park as well as a great assortment of restaurants. I was only sorry we couldn't stay more than 2 nights.

This was our first visit to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica and we picked the perfect place in which to stay for our 2 nights in Cahuita.. Kelly Creek Hotel is wonderful.Four spacious units with a unique ( to us ) ventilation system that keeps the rooms airy and comfortable. The beds had mosquito netting but during our time there... Marie Claude and Andres, the owners, and Adelina, their maid, makes this place even more special. We liked the location, the unique house architecture, their talking parrot Verdi, and their fantastic paella. More on the paella - it's probably best to tell Andres in advance because it takes a lot of prep work. It's huge, so make sure to bring... More

I almost feel like I should keep this place a secret but it deserves a review. My boyfriend and I visited Kelly Creek it mid July 2013 during our trip around Costa Rica and liked it so much we later return for another night. It’s got so much charm and character! It’s located among lush greenery, literally on the doorstep... More

We stayed here for two nights and it sits right on the beach. When you arrive your greeted by the owner and his adorable dogs. The rooms are very clean with a mosquito net to cover you at night because the windows do not have glass. At night you can hear the monkeys howling and among other animals wandering outside... More
