Like the last reviewer, I was really upset by the treatment of the dogs on the property. They were chained up 24-7 with no protection from the elements (constant downpour when I was there), and clearly starved for attention and exercise. After reading the great reviews here, I booked this hotel for our beach stay in Costa Rica. The rooms, especially bathrooms, are great, and they have AC (rare in CR). The owners are also really nice. The problem is that because it's smack in the middle of the small town of Cahuita, it's noisy. There was reggae and club music... more

Very pleasant and clean hotel. Recent construction in wood, very nice. Hotel owned by a very friendshy italian people. Very well located in Cahuita no need to use yr car (parked in a private garden). You CAN GO THERE !! more
