My three days and nights here were extraordinary. The beauty, the food, the land, the people, the sea, the flowers, the energy all was amazing. I learned so much about sustainable living. I felt peaceful and loved. The owners are gems, the staff was fun and the food they cooked for us was made with such love it was absorbed... More

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever had the chance to experience. It's an 80+ acre organic farm perched on the edge of the Costa Rican rainforest, with the Caribbean ocean just steps away from the house where we slept. We hiked into the property and were greeted with cold water, fresh fruit, and many smiles! The... More

such a beautiful remote location and full of beautifully smiling helpful kind loving people care taking the land. Incredible cuisine form the kitchen with fresh local fruits and veggies. The ocean is literally steps away from the common space. Books, classes, yoga studio, perfectly maintained pathways through the jungle gardens, epic sunsets and moonrises, singing and laughter all around, permaculture... More

sampling fruits off vine and tree, harvesting cinnamon, waking to jungle music of howler monkeys and parrots, wandering the beach at sunrise and most incredible moonrise. the trip walking in through the jungle with local guide Abel was the beginning of a truly magical time in this off-the-grid paradise. The staff are amazing and knowledgeable. the food is delicious and... More

Punta Mona is a truly magical place. I visited with a group of herbalists. Sarah and Stephen are spectacular hosts and their staff is gracious, accommodating, and personable. The location is remote and rustic, truly beautiful. The food was delicious, talk about local, sustainable, and organic, wow! The rooms are simple but clean and inviting, the showers are in their... Punta Mona is the "land of freedom". Go check it out! It`s jungle, ocean, good food, lovely people and being not only in, but being with nature. Learn about living sustainably, living in community, growing your own food, fruit trees (duh), herbalism and much more!

Punta Mona is a magical place. Everyone who is there is happy to be alive. Each person you see has this huge grin on their face that sort of says "Wow, can this place be real?" It's off the grid, and two hours into the jungle (or a beautiful 45 minutes ride by boat from Manzanillo), but it's well worth... More
