Ours rooms (2) were very nice, modern, clean, luxurious. The section we stayed in near the pool has been completely remodeled. This is the the best value nearest the airport - we got an internet rate of $95 USD per room. The older part of the hotel is closed for remodeling now. If you're getting to the airport and it's the only room in the area - stay here. If not, San Jose has much better options to offer. i stayed here with a large group of friends. The rooms were old looking and needed updating. It working for us because we were hardly ever at the hotel and werent looking for a up scale hotel. It was ok though. more

Overall, this hotel has seen better days. On the positive side, it's conveniently located close to the airport and serves an okay breakfast. The staff is well-intentioned but lacks experience and polish. Stay one night at most and limit your expectations and you'll be fine. more
