We stayed at the beginning and end of our trip to Costa Rica at the Adventure Inn and were so happy we chose to stay here! Beds comfortable, rooms quiet and clean, great pool, and the staff were helpful as well. Rooms were decorated beautifully. We loved the paintings on the walls (especially the Mayan mask- not sure why a... More

Classic small hotel with friendly bilingual staff and excellent travel assists for transfers, tours, and free taxi arrangements to the airport. The property is updated, very well kept and clean. Pool and hot tub on well maintained stone deck--refreshing. Walking distance to good restaurants and last minute shopping including a Fresh Market and pharmacy and local Chocolate producer boutique .... More

Gerardo Manuel was a great bartender and gave plenty of info about Costa Rica, he even practiced Spanish with me! Sergio and Esteban were also extremely nice as well as the rest of the staff. Great place to stay! Rooms were clean, simple, and affordable. Best part was the bar/restaurant/pool!

Place is cute with a nice size pool and hot tub. Rooms are pretty basic with cheesy Costa Rica masks painted in the wall. It looks like their might be some museums and a craft market closeby. The place reminds me a but of a hostel with people young and wearing pajamas to dinner. It was so so but who... More

Thank you for the review. Sometimes I think some Senior Reviewers just write for the sake of receiving another inconsequential credit without putting a lot of thought into what they are saying, or care who they are hurting. This guest obviously didn't spend much time with us to get a true overall experience and if she had booked direct with... More

The pool was chilly, but the hot tub was toasty. :) Quick friendly service in the restaurant. The front desk staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful! We had a "to go" breakfast waiting for us at the front desk due to our early departure and they arranged for a cab to take us to the airport. Lovely hotel!

We traveled to Uvita, Costa Rica, both this summer and last. Due to the timing of our flights and the distance to Uvita, we stayed at Adventure Inn both on our way in and our way out this year and last. My parents travel there frequently, so they made all our arrangements last year. This year, we tried to do... More

The grounds were beautiful far enough away from the city yet close enough to the bus stop for a 15 ride down town. Cute pond out front with lots of little ducks. Quiet area, shopping by walk to small stores(5 minutes). Staff was super nice, friendly, and incredibly helpful, showed us how to safely get to an from san jose... More

This is close to the airport and easy to find. When you arrive you are greeted with a family style hotel that is hard to ignore. The front desk is friendly and inviting. The staff bi-lingual and smiling. The rooms are spacious and clean and modern with all the things you would expect in a 4 star hotel for a 2... More

I'm halfway through my stay and unless something changes this is going to be a favorable review. It is close the airport and just off the highway leading into San Jose, but surprisingly the hotel is insulated from the noise of the freeway. I won't say it is in the middle of nowhere, but it should be used as a... More
