After 10 days in a vacation rental (house), it was wonderful to come here and be waited on. The property itself is very cool in terms of layout and decor-- kind of a sprawling ranch-style. The pools are well-positioned for sun, although the water is very cold. The restaurants were so/so. Service was great- we arrived at 8AM and they... More

My daughter stays here when traveling on business, as do her coworkers. I tagged along during a recent trip and brought my golf clubs, as she insisted they had a hotel driving range and practice green. She was absolutely correct! I spent the days on the range, practicing my sand shots, chips, and putting. I also golfed at a local... More

We stayed here for the first two nights in Costa Rica. Although large, this hotel had a very friendly feel to it. A beautiful building, very comfortable room, lovely grounds. The tapas restaurant was so good we ate there both nights. The coffee shop is well worth a visit, the staff are very knowledgable about the excellent coffee they serve.... More

We arrived in the evening, and had arranged pickup at the airport by a private bus company. The room was very nice and very inexpensive for the kind of hotel. The grounds were lovely, and it was very pleasant sitting out on the balcony of one of the public areas having a glass of wine. The included breakfast was magnificent,... More

Stayed one night and never got to use the amazing pools and grounds. Two conventions jammed the breakfast room and led to slow service. Good eggs horrible sausages and overpriced save for the view Very convenient to the airport. Ask for first floor poolside room like #274

When I think about the nice hotels that I have stayed at abroad this hotel in Costa Rica always comes to mind. Not only did it have the great service and amenities that are expected in this price range, but the hotel and grounds are just beautiful. I have stayed at other Central American hotels in Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador,... More

The Marriott has a great ambiance, with tile floors and candle-lit walkways. The rooms are also extremely clean and well-kept. This is a good choice if you need a hotel at either end of your trip to Costa Rica- and having access to the executive lounge is a perk when u need a late-night snack or a quick breakfast. Their... We stayed here overnight on our layover to Santa Teresa. Beautiful hotel will all amenities and central American charm. Good food and drink and well designed hotel with a nice view. Rooms clean and comfortable with US TV stations. Would stay here again.

When we arrived form Los Suenos this was place was a nice suprise. The location is closed to the airport. They have a pool but there was hardly anybody there. The large courtyard was beautiful ,. however. The rooms were very nice. The onsite restaurants were very nice. This is a great place to hang out and relax for a... More

We stayed at this hotel on two different occasions in December, and were pleasantly surprised. It's located near the airport and a bit far away from the city, but it is only a 15-20 minute drive to town. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and there is a nice swimming pool. The spa is also very good, I had two massages and... More
