We were already booked into this hotel when I read the online reviews, the large percentage of which were really negative. I was tempted to change our plans, but stuck with them anyway. And I'm really glad we did. This is a beautiful (well, beautiful for San Jose) hotel, with excellent service, great food and really reasonable prices. Staff was... more

from the time we arrived to try and check in and they couldn't find our rooms, to the horrible food and worse service in the Med restaraunt, to the security guards who made you feel like a crimnal in your own hotel this was a terrible place to stay. We were attending as part of a conference and had packages... more

We respectfully find this review unfair to our Hotel. It is based on a very bad service experience from another company (a courier company not completing the delivery of an important package on time). This hotel rents its convention space to third parties; the guest was here to attend a convention that the Hotel did not organize; in that regard,...

I want to share our absolutely perfect stay at this fabulously run hotel. Everything could not have been better. We truly felt as though we were in paradise. Waking up in the morning to the birds singing at our windows and looking out at the beautiful surrounding mountains. Next big decison was which pool to jump in for our morning... more

As frequent business and leisure travelers, my wife and I have had the opportunity to visit many different properties both within and outside our United States. I write this review because we especially enjoyed our week at the beautiful Ramada Plaza Herradura while I attended an International Symposium at the Ramada Conference Center. The conference center was large, well equipped,... more

We were on our Honeymoon and we had to stay there for 1 night due to being overbooked at our hotel Merlia.(Great Hotel)next door. It's started bad from the time we got there. It's took us over 15 minutes to check in,because they couldn't find us in the computer. A Wedding was going on that night and we went out... more

We could understand this guest's discomfort. The wedding being discussed became loud. We proceeded to upgrade the guest to a suite away from the wedding, and promised a refund if applicable. This guest reserved our hotel through a website reservation system that has credit with us (they send the money for reservations a few days after they actually happen). We...

I registered a large group for a weekend stay. It took 4 weeks for the hotel to provide me with a final bill reconciliation that was thousands of dollars less than what they initially claimed the group owed. The hotel management refuses to communicate with me, nor will they correct their few remaining bookkeeping errors to reduce the charges. I... more

The very fact that they charge as much as they do for this hotel is insulting. It's a little misleading too, because it gives you the impression that they might utilize that extra cash for hotel maintenance, buying carpet that isn't 20 years old, creating a decent fitness center, etc. My first annoyance was that high speed internet is not... more

We ended up at the Ramada when U.S. Airways bumped us from our morning flight. Its main virtue I think is that they easily let people check into about 20 rooms at 8am, even though check in is usually after noon. In case anyone wonders whether the place has improved in the year since the last review, no. We think... more

This is a place to stay while you are waiting for a plane, not a place to stay more than 1 night. It's got fine pools, it's pretty quiet too. Service is generally slow and disinterested, but usually friendly. Food (breakfast is okay) is not good at all and overpriced so bring your own or take a cab ($2 one... more
