Rancho de Español Spanish School and El Rancho Lodge is operated by the Gonzalez Cambronero tico family .Manuel and Clara are the directors and owners, after working for the Peace Corps of the United States, first as a hosting family and then as instructors of their training center here in La Guácima, they decided to start their own business with twenty years of experience and great knowledge accumulated. The directors are both from La Guácima and well known by their neighbors, they saw in this small town a place which provided safety for their students, and this is the reason why they turn their house into a school and started forming the gardens and surroundings and with a big effort they constructed the pool.It has been 18 years since it all began; their three children were still young then, now, the whole family is involved in the business.Veronica, the oldest and Alejandro the youngest are in charge of the administration of the school and with the help of their father who is in charge of the finances, the three of them assure the well running of the school and the lodge.Clara and Manuel Eduardo are in charge of the Spanish part of the school as well as of the instructors. The most difficult part until now has been surviving in a market which is run almost in its totality by foreigners who have bought much Costa Rican business to turn them into big businesses. We are proud to be almost one of the only surviving families in a competitive market without having enough resources to promote the business abroad, however, the quality of our work has been proven and our best advertisement is done by our own clients, who recommend us to their friends and family.Rancho de Español Spanish School and El Rancho Lodge is now a school with great experience and an excellent reputation in Costa Rica.Other Services offer:Volunteer Work in the community.Home stay program with local authentic tico families.Travel Agency - El Rancho Tours, local travel Expert.
