We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. It was quiet, serene, clean, tastefully decorated and right on the beach. It was perfect because we were inbetween the busy scene in taramindo to the left and the peaceful playa grande to our right. The best part was the French bakery connected to the hotel -- they have the best... More

This little hotel is a great value. 1. Rooms: We stayed on the first floor, ocean view. The view is primarily of the garden but the beach and ocean are visible. The second floor rooms/suites have a better view of the ocean and some are larger but also more expensive. Our room slept three in two beds. It was simple but... More

This hotel was not bad, but I thought for what we paid we would get alot more out of it.. the A/C was nice, but the beds were SO squeaky. The location to surf break was okay, little walk. The front desk gentleman hardly spoke English but was very helpful drawing us alot of pictures. Overall, I would not stay... More

Short walk into the main part of town. Short stroll down to the sand. Great bakery/cafe onsite. Tours easily booked. Knowledgeable staff. Gated at night. Room #12 was garden-facing and great with lots of wildlife in the nearby trees. The shower was my only complaint - although it was aesthetically pleasing, the water pressure/faucet was wonky.

This hotel was average, but the service was awful!!! I was shocked at how rude the front desk lady was to my boyfriend. Location is nice, a bit far, but right on the beach. Quiet. Clean rooms and AC is good though. I just think we expected a nicer place considering the cost.

The French bakery in connection to the hotel is a clear plus, as is the friendly hotel staff. Clean and ok standard, close to the beach and a short walk to "down-town" Tamarindo. Our room was however facing the street and was not nice at all, contained a small terrace (behind a high fence to the street), very noisy and... More

This is not a fancy hotel but located in a quite area of Tamarindo. The center and the hub of all action is literally 10 min walk. Avoid rooms facing the road as they are not so nice inside. The only downside was that during my stay my room did not have any electricity for a night.

Stayed there for 7 nights, very serene and beautiful location. On the beach between a oasis of Palm trees. Rooms are nice very nice view if you get the garden facing rooms. But ohh the beds are horrible not comfortable after my surf sessions I could sleep anywhere but this bed was bad!

I was here for 3 or 4 nights and really enjoyed my stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of my room and the comfort of my bed. I moved here after staying at a shared Witch's Rock room to get some space to work in and to escape the humidity of my shared room (I was here in... More

As the reviews below have stated, this is not a fancy hotel; but it hits everything you could ever need in Tamarindo. Unlike many of the hotels, hostels or apartments you can rent in the town, its actually on the beach. ITs not surrounded by a ton of other hotels or businesses, which means, you can actually relax and experience... More
