I stayed in the main house of Casa Cook with four friends in mid-December and could not have asked for a better experience! The house itself was perfectly clean (cleaned every day my a maid service) had a great kitchen, and even a TV with English channels. There's a private pool in the backyard and immediately beyond the pull is... more

This hotel is in the perfect location - short walk to Tamarindo, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and uncrowded. The staff is very attentive and the hotel very safe. The pool is small but well maintained and since you have the ocean at your doorstep you probably... more

My husband and I had a blast in Costa Rica. The staff at Casa Cook did a great job of setting us up with amazing adventures and telling us great things to do. So friendly! Casa Cook is so cute and you get your own little villa. It is not as private as you would think since it so small... more

I stayed at Casa Cook for four nights with my three young adult children. We stayed in a cabina right on the beach. It was a snug fit for four people but would be perfect for two. The cabina was spotlessly cleaned every day which was a luxury for me. Having a gorgeous beach just steps from our room was... more

We had a wonderful visit at Casa Cook. It is a quaint little hotel right on the beach, and each hotel room is like a small apartment. Perfect for longer stays but felt lavish for our few days too. Everyone there is so nice, and the guys who are security guards and also just help out however are so kind... more

From the time we arrived to the moment we left, our experience was outstanding. Ruth Ann & her staff provided excellent service. Everything was wonderful. Our cabina was cleaned daily, Diana made any necessary phone calls for tours/rides/restaurants, and the grounds were maintained meticulously by "the guys'. The view wass breath-taking. The hammocks were beyond restful & relaxing. This little... more

My husband and I stayed in a cabina at Casa Cook for three nights during our honeymoon. Ruthann and her staff were so helpful and attentive. We used their telephone and guide books often. Due to severe weather conditions, our flight to Quepos was canceled and we had to stay in Tamarindo one night that we had not planned for.... more

Great location, excellent service, very clean, well-equipped with boogie boards, lounge chairs, hammocks... Adorable tear-shaped pool. Convenient walk to town center. They don't serve food but each unit has a kitchen and there's also a grill for guest use. We are glad we stayed here. (Capitan Suizo on a budget.) Antonio is the hardest working guy in Tamarindo who will... more

My husband and i were celebrating our 20th anniversary in Costa Rica, and stumbled upon a gem right on the beach. We did not have reservations since we wanted to check out the different beaches on the pacific coast. I had thought about booking hotel diria but am glad now that we didn't. It was in the busiest part of... more
