What a special place and we can't wait to go back! We stayed in one of the two cabina's that face directly onto the beach and we're so glad that we chose to stay in one. The cabina had a small kitchen area, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Wi fi worked fine when we were at the back of the... More

Casa Cook was incredible... peaceful, secluded, and the bungalows back up right on to the beach. Plenty of privacy and cozy atmosphere. A few drawbacks... wifi was spotty, 15-20 minute walk to the beach by road, and the beds were hard as a board. The distance isn't so bad, though, when you take the beach route. Overall, absolutely recommend!

On the beach, close to all restaurants, one bedroom, modern and well looked after property. Beautiful swimming pool. Comes well equipped should you want to cook, or within walking distance to all beach restaurant

We could literally walk out of our cabin in the morning and be in the beach. There are hammocks right there, which is the perfect spot to get out of the wind and read / have a beer. The kitchens could be stocked a little better, but otherwise the place was great.

Casa Cook is a cute beachfront property with 4 units; 2 of which are cabinas on the beach. We stayed there from January 3 - 12, 2015 and loved every minute. Having never been to Costa Rica, we did do some research but looking online and reading about it, doesn't do justice to this lovely and friendly country that hasn't... More

Casa Cook is a hotel in Tamarindo run by Ruthann Cook. We took the "house" which is about a one-and-a-half minute drive from the hotel proper. The hotel proper is right on the beach, while the house is about a one minute walk from the beach. They are extremely friendly and want you to enjoy the place. The house was... More
