We stayed 5 nights at Mamiri and were very happy with the fact that despite only being a fiew blocks away from the busy main street, it was nice a quiet and we felt very safe. Maria-Teresa and Sergio were great hosts. They were very accomodating and you can see that they work very hard. Make sure to ask Maria-Teresa... More

Great place to stay. The owners are very helpful and will offer suggestions from destinations to places to eat. Our room had a very good working A/C unit, a nice comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. The breakfast was simple but good. There are howler monkeys that come out in the morning to eat the fruit from some of the fruit... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 days at the beginning of April. It's in a perfect location just off of the main strip, it took less than a minute to walk anywhere but was quiet at night so we could strip. Theresa knows where all the best close by beaches are that you can visit if you are... More

They were always willing to help with things to do.. one hard working couple and a great value. Highly recommend for the price especially. Deb Smith and son... More

This is a nice BnB/Inn run by an Argentinian couple. They run it with abit of a European flair, with a strong focus on a common social area (the courtyard in the center). Good pricing for the area but beware - they reserve the right to toss out non-registered guests. This can be an issue for a single guy (it's... More

Teresa and Sergio go the extra mile daily. They are so sweet and helpful, you can't help but to love them. Not too far from the beach, yet a far better location than beachfront for folks that want a little bit of peace and quiet. The hotel is shaded with a very nice garden area for mingling and coffee and... More

Sergio and Teresa were wonderful hosts - so good that we decided to cancel our plans to go to Nicaragua and we decided to stay for another week at Hotel Mamiri. We had an amazing breakfast every morning in the garden - the perfect sat up for a day's surfing/hiking/sunbathing in Tamarindo. All in all hotel stay memories we will... More

Spent one night at this hotel and had a great time. It is run by a family from Argentina who are very friendly and nice. They speak some English and show a lot of care for their guests. Though this hotel does not have a pool, it has a cool garden where breakfast is served and free coffee all day... More

We stayed four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were rustic and charming. Teresa and Sergio were wonderful hosts and gave us the best tips on how to enjoy the beautiful variety of beaches. We had a car so their tips were extremely useful. For a busy and loud party town, our experience slightly off the main road... More

Made mistake of staying over Xmas. Hotel is extremely over priced doing high season. CONS- Rooms are old and in need of many repairs (some only need small repairs but are not done) Only deluxe rooms at $98.00 per night have a small refrig and 5 yr old tv. Only furniture in rooms was bed(broken) and small dresser (also broken).... More
