We initially found Mamiri on trip advisor due to all the great reviews and decided to book for two night before committing to a full week in the hotel and Tamarindo and were not disappointed. Although most older reviews are about the last ownership, Mauro and Melissa (the new owners) are sure to exceed your expectations. Communications with Mauro over... More

New management took over the hotel a month before I visited and going off of the previous reviews, the service hasn't changed at all. The hotel is now run by a husband and wife who were an absolutely godsend to my girlfriend and I. We found it difficult to reserve a shuttle from the Liberia airport to tamarindo because of... More

I stayed for 4 nights in March. It was great value, quiet, good internet, great location and a good restaurant downstairs. The hospitality and assistant offered by the owners was much appreciated. This was my first trip to Tamarindo.

This hotel is a great find. The owner, Maria-Teresa was extremely helpful from the very first email I sent inquiring about reservations. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the main part of town, but out of the noise and hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed. My father and his friend stayed... More

We stayed 5 nights at Mamiri and were very happy with the fact that despite only being a fiew blocks away from the busy main street, it was nice a quiet and we felt very safe. Maria-Teresa and Sergio were great hosts. They were very accomodating and you can see that they work very hard. Make sure to ask Maria-Teresa... More

Great place to stay. The owners are very helpful and will offer suggestions from destinations to places to eat. Our room had a very good working A/C unit, a nice comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. The breakfast was simple but good. There are howler monkeys that come out in the morning to eat the fruit from some of the fruit... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 days at the beginning of April. It's in a perfect location just off of the main strip, it took less than a minute to walk anywhere but was quiet at night so we could strip. Theresa knows where all the best close by beaches are that you can visit if you are... More

This is a nice BnB/Inn run by an Argentinian couple. They run it with abit of a European flair, with a strong focus on a common social area (the courtyard in the center). Good pricing for the area but beware - they reserve the right to toss out non-registered guests. This can be an issue for a single guy (it's... More
