We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in July and had a great time. The owner is very nice, helpful and hospitable. The swimming pool is relaxed. We did not have a car so we had to walk to the beach and town, this takes about 15 to 20 minutes which is OK. Samara beach is very beautiful! Overall we... More

This small hotel very near the magnificent beach of samara is a delight I found it by chance and loved it. The rooms are spacious and clean the bathroom is fine. The rooms open to a garden with deckchairs overlooking the countryside very peaceful and delightful at night. The swimming pool is lovely with deckchairs with very good service from... More

Stayed only 3 days and felt like old friends by the time we left. Clemenceau picked us up at another hotel in the morning and got our room ready for early check in , in less than half an hour. Nice pool, really great food, people ate there from neighboring hotels, staff was great, and followed up on everything you inquired... More

After finding the Hotel, my companion (my sister-in-law) and me were a bit disappointed that it was not on the ocean (our fault). But within 3 hours of our stay, I was in love. Other reviews are correct: fabulous food & staff, fantastic owners & their adorable girl, cats, a dog and yes, a farm out your back door. We... More

I've been looking forward to reviewing this quaint little hotel. It turned out to be just what we needed. First of all, it happens to be a little ways out of town, which turned out to be a happy accident. It was so quiet, peaceful and serene. We walked past other hotels on our way into, or in town, and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in February. The hotel is a small family run establishment. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and well maintained. The pool is a salt water pool and very refreshing. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the beach, and of downtown Samara. Breakfast was quite good, and dinners were delicious and beautifully... More

This hotel is about 1.3 km from the town itself - thank heavens! Close proximity to the town might be wonderful for under 30s, but.....The hotel itself was great. Rooms weren't exactly spacious - ours was a family unit with divided spaces for a bunk bed for kids, so not much room inside, but good wardrobe space with shelving as... More

We stayed in Samara for 5 nights during our holiday in Costa Rica and we had a fantastic time. I would say that the friendliness of the hotel staff really made our stay enjoyable in Samara. Granted, the hotel is not on the beach, it isn't far either. If you have a car, it's a very quick car ride and... More

We just returned from 4 nights at the Pacific Lodge. We had a lovely stay. This was the last part of our trip so we wanted to relax and soak up the last of the rays while we had a chance. Clémence, the owner, is super hardworking and kind. She upgraded our room and took good care of us during... More

Samara Pacific Lodge is at the same time close to "downtown" Samara and far enough that you can just stay there and enjoy your evening by the pool and take a break from the beach. We found ourselves very lucky to stay in room 14, which had beautiful french doors and a little patio at the back. We did't dine... More
