We were disappointed upon arrival at Casa Valeria. We had received a recommendation, and had read good reviews prior to arrival. After having spent two weeks in Costa Rica, at hostels, hotels, and small inns, we we found the front desk staff person to be very unwelcoming. Mostly, he seemed indifferent, and as if our being there diverted his attention... More

We had bungalow 6 right on the beach and next to the surf school, and loved it! Very simple accommodations, but what else do you need on the beach?! Alejandra and the staff were so nice and friendly. Hammocks right outside, lots of palm tree shade, and if you're lucky, Francisco will swing by and climb a tree and get... More

Vert good location. It's Wright on the beach, close to thé centre of the town. Y ou can get a bungalow on the beach; rooms are rustic but functional. There is a share kitchen for basic cooking. Not to expansive Be careful and don,t le ave anything on the beach. Lot of Thiers and I got things stolen even in... More

I loved to stay by casa Valeria. This is simple but very very clean, right on the beach wich is very rare in Costa Rica. As the food in this country is in my opinion very bad i was so happy to use the commun kitchen where everything is available to prépare meal. The beach is nice - not exceptional... More

We just spent two weeks in samara and absolutely love the laid back village atmosphere and friendly people. We stayed in a bungalow only steps from the beach and loved the location. The owners are so friendly and it is a family owned business and they are all very nice and fun people to chat to each day. Their are... More

I spent 2 nights here, and like it a lot. To start, it is right on the beach, and falling asleep with the sound of the waves is priceless. They have a nice space with hammocks, free coffee all day and the staff (who seems to be a local family) is really nice and chill. Rooms vary in size, some... More

Loved the location on the beach and that everything was close. The bars and restaurants were nice and close and good prices. Would be even better if they had a restaurant or at least a lounge. Make sure you request a room with air conditioning or else you won't be sleeping very well. Management was helpful.

I stayed at Casa Valeria for three nights during a gAdventures trip. The location is unbeatable, right at the beach, surrounded by palm trees between which various hammocks are scattered. The cabin rooms are basic, some with fridges and A/C and as clean as it can get with the beach sand and nature right at your door step. There is... More

We stayed here for three nights with g-adventure and it was good. We actually stayed at the room I liked the most nr 8 - the bungalow which was closest to the beach. It cost around 50 $ per night and that is really reasonable! The beach is 10 m away and next door is the surf-school. The hotel also... More
