I recently booked through Expedia as a package deal. I would not recommend this property. The photos posted online and the property description of its amenities are not accurate and not current. Be aware. The property appears in neglect and disrepair. I was disappointed. There are no useable pools (as depicted in their posted photos). I am currently seeking a... More

We stayed as a couple with our dog and do not recommend staying here, especially if you have a dog! We went thinking we were getting a good deal of $50/night for a 2 bedroom house with hot springs on the property, and when we arrived it looked pretty good but found out quickly that we were overpaying by a... 3 of us stayed in the 2 bedroom house for 1 night. We wanted a different experience - not tourists stuff. Hugo cooked us dinner and breakfast and brought it too us - Very Good cook! :) The next day, we rode around the area. Hugo showed us all the interesting little spots that only a local who loves the... More

On a positive note, the staff was extremely nice (the owner was not there, so we did not meet him). We were very disappointed with the condition of the facilities. At first, we thought it was completely abandoned...the property looked deserted and not kept. We called the owner's two phone numbers and got no response, drove away to have lunch... More

The place was dirty, the main kitchen area (where you get your internet service) had stained food on the walls and the counter/ sink was full of dirty dishes. The staff was disrespestful asking for money and the owner kept making apologies for so many things, blaming the staff for everything that was wrong. The staff also said the owner... More

We stayed at one of Ailanto Cabinas for 4 perfect nights. Doc and his wonderful family and staff run the resort and campground and I can't say enough about how welcoming and helpful they are. We enjoyed their many natural hot spring pools and hiking trails around the property. There are two great small towns nearby to eat and drink,... More

My girlfriend and I rented a car from Manuel Antonio and programed it for the wrong Fortuna. A luck event I must say. This is an up and coming in Costa Rica area not spoiled by tourism yet. We stumbled onto the Ailanto Wellness Resort and Spa and after meeting with Hugo and seeing the natural hot pools, decided to... More

Thank you for such a nice review, we try very hard to please all of our guests, but we know that our location is so pristine and so beautiful that the only thing that we can do is to be helpful in anyway possible. Most of the people that come to us leave feeling the way that you do and... More

If you are planning a trip of a lifetime and want to enjoy yourself do not go to AILANTO resort simply for the fact it does not exist! It is a campground claiming to be a resort/wellness center. The owner has driven away so many managers, workers and guests due to the fact he lies about everything. All websites are... More
