It was a wonderful treat to find Lands in Love. A group of 18 friends work hard to make sure that this hotel is first class. The lobby is amazing . . . Best of all the activities and the well kept grounds and the hiking trails and the canopy tours and the hosts. . . Wow. . . We... More

First the good: The food was incredible! And we're not vegetarians. The tostones (fried plantains) were so good I had them every breakfast and the coffee is to die for. We were lucky enough to have the buffet one night and were treated to a sampling of so many delicious things to eat. Kudos to Naama and her helpers! We... More

Tierras Enamoradas is set smack in the middle of a Costa Rican cloud forest with lots of primary growth (huge trees and vines). There are hiking trails to a river and a small water fall along which we saw a variety of wildlife. The rooms and surroundings are impeccably maintained without conflicting with ambiance of the surrounding cloud forest. The... More

As a pure vegetarian, I wanted to love this place. At first things seemed quite nice. The room was really pretty and our view was nice and we could see birds etc. (Contrary to what "Jokerji" says, our room 17 had a nice view. Also, he asserts his affection for the Jews, but I am Jewish and let me tell... More

"Tierras Enamoradas", or "Lands in love," is by far the best hotel I have stayed in anywhere outside the US. All service expectations were warmly met, and then some. I should also mention that it competes well with some American hotels that charge similar prices. The fact that it's in the middle of a rain forest (the temperature is moderately... More

We traveled to Costa Rica with friends. We stayed in several locations to see as much as we could in ten days. Next trip we will allow more than one week while in Costa Rica. So much to see! We read a review from a blog on the internet about Lands in Love and did some research before going there.... More

I had a really wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is wonderful; sitting in a cloud forest on a very large (hundreds of acres) property with its own rivers, hanging bridges, and even its own first class zip-lining. The on-site restaurant is great too, and if you are passing up to La Fortuna / Arenal this way, please stop... More

I want to commend your staff, for the beautiful food (gluten free too) served !! It was such a delite to be able to have wonderful food while on our vacation, and food I could eat!! One thing I would suggest, if it is possilbe, is to not have the gardeners use their blowers powered by diesel(?) around the rooms... More

After doing a lot of research on Tripadvisor and on their website, we decided to stay here for 3 nights and 4 days. Being both vegetarians and pro-Semite, we thought it would be great to spend our money during our stay in paradise for a good cause. But, what a horrible decision that was. This was the worst part of... More

i stayed with 2 of my friends in lands in love for 3 great nights. the whole trip to cr was planned by the staff: everything was working on time, we did not expect such a great trip. in the hotel we enjoyed the people, the excellent food, the view, the "adventures": we did the canopy and rufting: both were...
