- Lands in Love is a vegetarian, animal-friendly hotel that offers a unique experience in the Arenal region. - The food is excellent. - They maintain an authentic Israeli feel by having random stray cats wander around the premises, inside the hotel, and on the furniture. - The grounds are nice, but not well-maintained. - They offer many activities and... Not only that the this hotel lived up to our expectations - in general, the atmosphere was far beyond our expectations, the food was excellent! On top of everything, the staff gave us and helped with priceless tips and advise before, during and after our stay, so the rest of our trip in Costa Rica was one of our best... More

We stayed 2 nights with another family and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There are plenty of activities in the resort and around it, to keep the kids busy for several days. We did rafting and horse riding on the first day and the canopy trail on the second. The rooms were spacious, but the beds were not very comfortable. No A/C... More

Hotel resides in a most beautiful cloud forest with breath taking view from your room. Crew is very friendly and service oriented. The hotel restaurant is one of the best veggie restaurants I have dined in.

We found this place on our way to la Fortuna and we booked a Canopy Tour, but we fell in love with the place, and decided to stay...I was very surprised, the rooms are nice and clean... it is the perfect place to relax, read a book and at the same time enjoy of extreme activities like Rafting, Zip Lining,... We stopped for lunch on our way back from Arenal and were surprised by the delicious, healthy food and the fun shabby chic decor. They have 2 restaurants one at the road side and the other down near the hotel. The views are beautiful and the staff was very nice. Quite a find.

Honestly felt like I was in an elderly citizens home. The decor was so old and CREEPY we couldn't stay. There was not a single person in the place but the simple banana smoothie I ordered still took 15-20 mins to make and cost $8 take away. This place had a very strange off putting vibe. It could be a... More

I thought it was a scene from The Shining by Stanley Kubrik except a geriatric version. No kidding the restaurant and hotel reception decor was that creepy 3 of us decided we couldn't eat there. As we'd already sat down we felt rude to just leave so out of pitty we ordered 2 smoothies to go. 20 mins later our... More

My daughter and I were traveling through Costa Rica and I read a Blog that mentioned Lands in Love. We stopped to grab a bite to eat and to our supise, had a wonderful meal and great service. My daughter is a vegetarian, and we did not know at the time that the restaurant is completely catered for vegetarians. The... More

Lands in Love is a very animal friendly place. They have an animal rescue facility on the premises with an array of injured animals including cats, dogs, sheeps, geese and horses. The name of the hotel is very befitting as the staff exudes love, whether it be from the soap and shampoo, which were ecofriendly and not tested on animals,... More
