We read the reviews and thought this would be a great place to stay. NOT! It's far from everything which we didn't realize (so check the map). The rooms are very dated, very grandma-ish. We booked 2 nights in advance and realized at check-in we only wanted to stay one night because of the distance to La Fortuna area. They... More

The hotel locate in very beautiful area, the nature is great. The food is good, but not chip. The hotel offer great activities like, canopy, water fall rappelling , rafting, house riding... We got family room for 5 people, the room was average, the bad thing in the room was dampness smell.

While the rooms and amenities (pool, small hot tub, not much else) are pretty basic, the rest of the experience can only be described as "unique" --and in the most positive sense of the word. The setting is dramatic, amidst the rain forest with vistas to peaks with low hanging clouds, totally remote. There is what seemed like an extensive... More

This is an Israeli-owned resort nestled well off the beaten-path, and offering only vegetarian fare in its restaurant. The resort offers horse-back riding, zip-lining, and various other activities at very reasonable rates, though prepare for sticker-shock in the restaurant. The food is good, but lunch for four cost $75.00. The zip-lining is spectacular and I highly recommend it, however bring... More

We spent four nights at Lands in Love, and although our room needed renovation, the place had such "heart" that we didn't care about some of the rustic features. Besides, when it is so beautiful and peaceful outside, and the people are so nice, it is really not important. We very much enjoyed our time with everyone, from the drivers... More

we highly recommend this resort, many activities nearby (canopy, horseback riding, canyoning, rafting), the people that run this place have shelter for lonely animals, they have great hearts, we used them also to plan all our trip to costa rica, they made all reservations and everything was great with no problem, we are family of six, children ages 4 to... Tierras Enamoradas (Lands in Love) is located in a serene hidden valley in the cloud forest, with hiking trails just a few steps outside the guest rooms. Not only is the location beautiful, but this resort is the perfect choice for those who want to live by their principles while traveling. The owners are a group of friends from Israel... More

We are expat residents in Costa Rica. They have an excellent package special that includes a room, meals and activities. The grounds are gorgeous. The vegetarian food is unbelievably delicious. Everyone is helpful and friendly. They rescue cats, dogs and horses. You can visit the dogs and help walk them. The rooms are clean and well supplied. The only complaint... More

We left Arenal for San Jose and stopped to eat at Lands in Love. When we walked in we were coldly greeted, as if unwelcome. There are signs all over the road saying. To stop and telling of what products you can order, I wanted the veggie burger, but on the menu, it did not exist. So my boyfriend and... More
