We just returned from an amazing first time to Costa Rica and I highly recommend staying at The Springs Resort. We are a family of four, including two teenage girls. We stayed in a two bedroom springs suite. It had two rooms w/sliding doors in between. Each room had its own bathroom and beautiful views of the volcano. We had... More

I didn't stay at the lodge so I can't comment on the rooms. I got the two day visitor pass to enjoy the hot springs. I loved trying out all the differently temperatured pools and I could not pass up the water slide! With the pass you can also take a bus down to the river and see some wildlife... More

We have been to the springs before but this time we bought the two day pass. It gets you into Club Rio which has a lot of different things to do. We did the Rock wall climbing. It was a blast. The guides were very helpful and you don't have to be experienced to do this climb. We also did... More

This hotel was one of the best I ever stayed at. The service was superb and the massages I received in the spa were done professionally with expertise. The food was delicious and the service was everything you would desire. The hotel is so clean that I did not have any allergies there as I do at home. The excursions... More

It is an extremely elegant resort with first class amenities and service. The two-mile unpaved driveway gave the impression that nothing could be at the end of the road, yet upon arriving one finds paradise. The remoteness of the location necessitates taking most meals at the resort. There are several restaurants; all of the food is delicious. The cost varies... More

The resort is spectacular! The staff is friendly, food good(especially the breakfast), and amenities are second to none. The rooms are large and beautiful and the views are breathtaking. Two activities that are a must are waterfall rappelling and sky trek zip line. Costa Rica vacation is unlike any we have been on and The Springs Resort is the only... More

My family of four, two adults and two teenage sons, stayed at The Springs Resort and Spa for three nights in July. We were hesitant about staying here because of the price but in the end we were very happy with our choice. Upon arrival, we were greeted with friendly service and cocktails. We were then given a tour of... More

This is the place to stay if you are traveling to Costa Rica to see the rain forest and Arenal Volcano. The view is spectacular of the volcano if you ever get to see it. It is usually covered by clouds. We saw it at 5:30am for literally 5 minutes the last morning we were there. I was able to... More

We came here on our honeymoon and were blown away by the beautiful accommodations. It was so clean, spacious, and impressive. Our suite had a flowering tree outside and we loved watching all of the birds flying in and out. And waking up to a volcano every morning was amazing. The springs were fun day or night, very relaxing. The... More
