I went for a 4days/3night package this Nov with Pacuare Lodge. I had such an amazing experience with this place that prompted me to write a review for fellow Costa Rica travellers. The raft in and raft out adventure is both beautiful and fun along this white water river. The staff is very professional and make it very safe for... More

We had a great 2 night stay here with our 3 children. We all rafted in even though my youngest daughter is only 9. Great guides who stay with you throughout the stay. Great simple food. Zip lining fab experience kids enjoyed waterfall hike. Met great other travellers. Torrential rain so really sadly were unable to raft the 24km out... More

We can understand why this place is one of the top Eco Lodges in the World. The people serving you are very knowledgeable about flora and fauna and can not do more to help. The food is simple but delicious. If you want out of the rat race for a taste of real life, this is the place to go.... More

I cannot begin to describe the amazing experience that I had at Pacuare Lodge this year. My husband and I stayed in one of the Linda Vista Suites and it was absolutely breathtaking. When we arrived there was a little welcome sign on our patio with our names on it, champagne chilling in the room and little chocolates and candies... More

If I could give them more stars I would! My husband and I came to Pacuare for 2 nights during our honeymoon. First of all, the fact that your raft in and out of the lodge is awesome in and of itself! Ivan was our tour guide and he was a blast! He was funny but we felt very safe... More

We had an awesome time at the Pacuare Lodge. The experience is a bit pricey, but definitely worth its money. I would recommend a two or three nights stay. If visiting in the rain season, you will have the afternoon for relaxing/napping ;). The area is quite spacious, and the rooms as well. It is truly a 5 star lodge.... More

I was so sad to leave Pacuare Lodge that I almost considered returning a week later - it was that beautiful. Three days was definitely not long enough! I loved the exhilarating white-water rafting, swimming beneath the waterfall and the sound of the Howler monkeys in the trees. The luxury accommodation with outdoor and indoor shower, amazing service, friendly staff... More

We stayed in the honeymoon suite in April 2013. Hands down we wouldn't hesitate to go back. The Pacuare leg of the trip started with a long ride from San Jose to Turrialba. The Pacuare tour guides talked about the history of the area as we passed and answered any questions we had about the country. We stopped at a... More

There are times, you see a place online and you think "there's no way it can live up to this". It does. The room was spectacular - our own photos match what you see online. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You get the feeling that they genuinely care about making you happy. I never really adjusted to... More

My husband and I spend our honeymoon at the Pacuare Lodge last week. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights and wished we were staying longer! The lodge was incredible! We were picked up from our hotel in San Jose and drove about an hour until we stopped for a traditional Costa Rican breakfast at a really neat scenic place... More
