Very nice hotel: it should get its fifth star! Reception very friendly, helpfull, free drink at arrival. Nice rooms (hacienda style junior suites) within the main building. We traveled to Turrialba specifically to whitewater raft on the Pacaure River. This hotel was about 10 minutes out of town in a peaceful and gorgeous setting. I stayed here for 1 night. The road to the hotel is terrible, but when you enter the entranceway of the hotel it is perfect! Large palmtrees are welcoming you. The person at the reception was very nice. If we would like to use the whirlpool we have to call 30 minutes before and she would warm up the water.... more

I filled their online reservations form, to which they responded promptly to inform me that they had other dates available. But when I emailed them back (3 times) accepting their dates and even called them two times, I never got a response back as to whether or not the room is still available. more

Loved this hotel. Staff is friendly and attentive and helpful with advice and driving directions. Our room was very large and comfortable, although the room overlooked the driveway and was thus noisy. The grounds are beautiful. The horseback riding was very poorly led. The food was uneven - great at some meals, bland at others. The staff were friendly. more
