I had been here before, as always great customer service, beautiful hotel and amenities however it was impossible for us to use the jacuzzi since a couple of families used it as a children's pool the whole weekend and the hotel staff permitted it.

We got married in Casa Turire in April 2013. We loved the place, the lake, the mountains, the volcano. The food is excellent and very good service. Casa Turire is a lovely hotel and has an amazing view to the Turrialba Volcano.

This hotel is located in the Turrialba valley at the foot of the Turrialba Volcano which rises 9000 feet from the valley floor. The grounds around the hotel are a bird lovers paradise. I would recommend a guided tour of the property which we did. We stayed in the Master Suite which had a huge deck on the first floor... More

Casa Turire was the first stop on our multi-location adventure trip as a family. The reservation was arranged for us by Costa Rica Rios. We arrived at 9am from an overnight flight and were exhausted. The staff managed to get a room ready for us within an hour....while the hotel was at capacity. Thank you! The pool area and dining... More

We are unsure how this hotel relates to other hotels in the area, so it may be a Ritz relative to others. However, it was a disappointment as far as the room and service. The bed was ok and we did not have hot water 2 of the 3 days we stayed. We reported to management each time and she... More

We were in the area for canyoning and white-water rafting, so were not expecting much, but this place was really nice! Our two rooms were large and charming. The bathrooms were large and modern. The restaurant was really nice with great food and even better service. Yes, the vultures congregated on the roof of our rooms (I think we had... More

The building design is very impressive as it was once a coffee and sugar cane plantation. My room was quite comfortable with a balcony to enjoy birdwatching. The manager Jana Daigle is efficient and ensures that everything is going according to plan. I enjoyed a horseback ride on one of the plantation's horses as we rode uphill through nearby coffee... This house was once part of a coffee and sugar cane plantation, but now is a boutique hotel in lovely grounds, with stables for horse riding and a view of the Turialba volcano, which has been venting smoke and even, occasionally, lava, for the last 5 years. The rooms and beds are comfortable and it is nice to have plenty... More

Casa Turire is a nice smaller hotel. Overall I quite enjoyed it. The only complaint I could point out is that there is nothing to do near the hotel. Turrialba is a nothing little town. If you are looking to just relax, you couldn't ask for a nicer place. Air conditioning in the rooms would be a nice upgrade.
