My daughter and I recently spent two nights at Hotel Villa Florencia - as 'stop over' stay on our travels between the Pacific and Caribbean coasts. While it served its purpose of providing us with a convenient starting point for our rafting trip on the Pacuare River (which was awesome!!) and the staff was very friendly, we felt uncomfortable there... Well, it's hard and sad for me to write this review. They had the most best intentions to make our time as plesent as they can. Very kind, very warm people, Best intentions. Too bad the result was diffrent. The first nigth was terrible, the bed wasn't convenient, we hardly get some sleep. Remember i told you about the great... More

My wife and I had a one night stay at this hotel during our extended visit in Costa Rica. It was a stop over place between two long term stays. The hotel is quite nice and the grounds around the place are lovely. We enjoyed the pool quite a bit. The hotel is not fancy but that is fine with... More

My daughter, granddaughter and I are just back from two days at Hotel Villa Florencia. We are spending two weeks in Turrialba studying spanish and wanted to get out of the town for a quiet weekend. Our stay was very nice! The hotel is lovely, our room very comfortable with plenty of space and a large shower. We enjoyed the... More

We stayed 3 nights at Via De Florencia in Turrialba, Costa Rica. It's nestled on the side of a mountain among sugar cane fields. The view, staff and accommodations were spectacular! We plan to return.

We stayed at Villa Florencia for only one night as part of an Eco Tour. The front desk staff (sorry I can't remember her name) was extremely nice, and even turned on the jacuzzi (next to the pool) for me. We had a very early check out time, and since we would miss breakfast, she made/packed us a bagged breakfast,... More

Our group arrived at 3 am and were greeted warmly and shown to our very comfortable rooms. We slept well and enjoyed a delightful relaxing day by the pool, in the hammocks, and walking the short distance to a small village. It was a delightful way to begin our Costa Rican vacation. We did not need to go to town... More

My wife, and I didnt stay at the Villa Florecia. But we went horseback riding there. After the ride, we stayed for lunch. The place may be the most serene place I've been to. Just such a relaxing atmosphere, that I would have loved to spend a couple of days there, but it wasnt possible. Being it's only a small... More

The hotel is really beautiful; we had a suite which was really spacious and roomy, super comfy king size bed and a semi private terrace with a hammock, a rocking chair and a beautiful view to the pool area. The bathroom was massively big, it has a big hot tub, WC, shower, some cabinets and a nice size mirror sort... More
