The Orosi Lodge Chalet is a beautiful house that can easily accomodate 5 people (it can also be split into 2 apartments). It has a beautiful patio that is overlooking the valley and the 2 volcanos, Irazu and Turrialba. It also has a functional kitchen (actually 2) and a large living room to hang out if its a little cold... More

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Attention to detail in the rooms was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable. The food and coffee was superb. This is the perfect place to stay, in an idyllic and friendly town, if you'd like to explore the surrounding area. We appreciated the local artwork for sale in the shop. Thank you!

What a lovely surprise this little hotel was. I think it's the best place in town to stay. The front reception area is nice to sit and enjoy a lovely coffee and cake. The breakfast was so tasty! Order the eggs, they come in your own private fry pan to the table. Home made jams and fresh baked goods. Nice... More

We only stayed 1 night but we would have loved to stay longer... The service is exceptional and the owners really look at every details. The rooms are cosy and nicely decorated. Free organic costa rican coffee is also available in your room. The reception/restaurant area is also very welcoming and displays a lot of different art & crafts created... More

Small restful hotel in a small restful town in the middle of a picturesque mountain valley. Nice views of the town and surrounding mountains. VERY well run - spotless comfortable rooms with relaxing patio areas, and the owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. OK, I have to say that these are without a doubt the BEST beds we... The service was excellent and attentive, without being intrusive. Complimentary coffee in the rooms was superb. Breakfast was a delight. The roosters in the neighborhood were very enthusiastic, beginning to crow around 4am. On a couple of nights barking dogs created quite a fuss and made it difficult to sleep. I loved the fresh air that blew through the room,... More

This lodge is very popular and you should book it in advance. It's well located, just a few blocks away from the Iglesia de San Jose de Orosi. The rooms are simple but very functional, comfy and clean. At night the dogs and chickens get a bit noisy, ear plugs can be very useful. Awesome breakfast, very healthy and with... More

Rooms are comfortable, they have a small kitchen, fridg and microwave. Bathroom is small but adequate. Stairs need slow navigation in and out of the lodge. Food was great but not included with the room, but well worth the price. Small town but a lovely place to visit. Take the coffee tour, eat the apple strudel and enjoy the small... More

Clean rooms and an amazing, healthy breakfast. They sell self-baked pies & cookies and they serve great coffee. The only complaint we had is that the road is noisy (you will wake up early) and the beds make a lot of noise when you turn over. That being said, it's really worthwhile going there! A must-do activity is to visit... More

Hola Baris, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review - we really appreciate to get feedback from our guests ! We are sorry that the garbage truck woke you up in the morning.
