By far the nicest place I have ever stayed. Honeymoon? This is the place you won't be disappointed. Volcano views from your deck are beautiful. Outdoor showers and jacuzzi on your deck too. Will come back again.

We just spent 6 nights at Nayara in room 31 for our 10th anniversary and could not be happier. We booked the hideaway package, which included one free tour, a trip to Eco termales hot springs, free breakfast every day, free dinner for two one night and a couples mud massage. We did not arrive until 10.30pm, due to the... More

After a VERY rocky start to our Costa Rican adventure, we came to this hotel. My boyfriend had surprised me with the reservation here. From the minute we pulled up, we were treated GREAT. They had our file ready, the manager greeted us and lead us from the stairs to the check-in counter. They then brought us cold towels, and... More

We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it immensely. The staff is terrific...very helpful and friendly. Everything about the common areas and rooms is lovely, impeccaby cared for and thoughtful in the design. The outdoor spa tubs on the deck of each room and the outdoor showers are stunning and really fun. I spent a lot of time reading in... More

There are so many positive things to say about Nayara. If we go back to Arenal, I would not think of staying anywhere else. First, we had a change of plans and the hotel management was very accommodating in reducing the length of our stay - we were able to use our credit for the adventure tours booked through the... This was our first time in Costa Rica, after a long drive from the Airport this was like arriving in paradise. Our room was a suite beautiful with a private balcony and jacuzzi, the bathroom was gorgeous with two sinks an enormous shower even one outside. We had coffee in our room over looking the jungle. Breakfast was delicious, my... More

I just stayed at the Nayara last week and was unsure if I had made the right choice. We pulled up and the place looks quaint, but it has a rustic luxury appeal. The hotel has some nice amenities that I think help set it apart from other hotels nearby. First off, we LOVED the jacuzzi hot tub that's perched... More

This was our first visit to Costa Rica, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Our villa was so comfortable and we had a gorgeous view of the volcano from our porch and private tub. The service was amazing and the staff couldn't have been friendlier! This is a beautiful resort with a wonderfully romantic... More

It was our honeymoon and it couldn't have been better. We stayed here for 4 nights on a 18 day tour of Costa Rica. I wish it was our last stop not so close to the beginning of our trip. I absolutely think less is more sometimes and this was one of them. Small but lovely lobby. Small but great... More

This a beautiful resort with lush landscaping and immaculate rooms. We stayed in the Nayara Suite, which was very spacious (bigger than our apartment back home) with a fantastic balcony with private hot tub, hammock and sitting area. The cabins are arranged with strategically placed landscaping to make it feel very private and special. We loved the dual outdoor shower,... More
