My husband and I stayed here for three nights. It is really quite a spectacular place to be. We had a lovely secluded room (they all are) with an outdoor whirlpool tub on a private deck. There were two showers, one indoors and one outdoors! Breakfast was very nice and there was food-to-go if you didn't have time in the... More

Reading the hype on the Nayara website (#2 hotel in the world!), we were expecting something special. Instead, this is a pretty average hotel, considering its price. Far from being one of the best hotels in the world, it ranks three out of three of the places we stayed at in Costa Rica. We stayed in two other hotels that... More

I have been to Costa Rica many times, stayed in a lot of different hotels and resorts. Do not be deceived by the small resort in Monterey...(L&L)...It is overpriced and not worth the horrible drive to get there....Do yourself and favor and enjoy all that the Northern Zone has to offer....Nayara Hotel is the place!!

I don't even know where to start. We just returned from a fabulous 6 days at Nayara and we couldn't have been more pleased. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, including many US 5 star hotels. The level of customer service and luxury at this hotel is actually hard to believe. Every single person... Staying at Nayara was the most amazing experience for our honeymoon. The room was amazing, the food was incredible and the extra little amenities are everywhere. I wish we would have done a spa treatment because i am sure they were amazing and they were not too expensive (compared to prices here in Manuel Antonio) I wish I had another... More

I can't really add anything else. The room was awesome. The staff was so amazing it kind of made me uncomfortable. I thought I'd share some extra notes that might be useful for some people: -We flew into Liberia and had the hotel arrange transportation. First we got killer airfare to Liberia so be sure to check it and check... More

Absolutely gorgeous casitas where you can take in the volcanic view while soaking in a private jacuzzi or swinging in a hammock. The perfect place to relax after a hard day's hike. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, upscale restaurants on premises, phenomenal massages at the spa and free morning yoga. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be... More

We were so fortunate to find this place, due to tripadvisor reviews, and so glad we did. The La Fortuna area is among he most beautiful and lush in the country--you are surrounded by green!! The resort itself is everything everyone says, great service, top notch everything and great ambience. Loved our room, loved the spa, loved the hanging bridge... More

Without exaggeration, this was the nicest stay that my wife and I have ever had in any hotel or resort! The grounds are designed perfectly for ultimate privacy. The rooms themselves are individual bungalow-style and are unique and charming, unlike anywhere else I've stayed. Though a small resort, which is a good thing because you never felt crowded, it offers... More

This Luxury boutique hotel lived up to all expectations .Pura Vida is how the staff greet you and On arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink of our choice and a cold flannel to cool us from our long four hour journey from Tortuguero . On our approach to this wonderful hotel in the Arenal rain forest we got... More
