This hotel was wonderful!! The winding pathways to your room are bordered by tropical plantings that soar above you, giving a nice feeling of privacy. The rooms themselves are quiet and nicely decorated, with the biggest plus being the large private balconies that afford a view of the Arenal volcano right from your room. The staff was very accomodating; particularly... More

This hotel was one of the best we stayed in while in CR. The location is away from the other hotels but close to the La Fortuna Waterfall, Cerro Chato hike and a quick taxi to anywhere else. They had the best breakfast buffet of the entire trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful

We went back in 2012 and I wanted to make sure they still got a great review. The room was basic but the peacefulness of this boutique resort was exactly what we were looking for. The first morning we woke up and stepped out on our back porch we were greeted by humming birds flying around and touching all the... More

I stayed for two nights and would have loved to stay longer. The setting was incredible, with glorious grounds, a beautiful pool area and lovely balcony views from the first floor rooms - there are toucans in the surrounding trees! The dining room was open to enjoy views of the wildlife. Food was excellent, both breakfast and a la carte... More

Casa Luna is really a great hotel. You feel like you're in the middle of the forest but are not far from La Fortuna city. The view from the balcony (top level) is breathtaking (I would highly recommend rooms in the sections D, E and F as they are far from the restaurant and music). The breakfast every morning is... We enjoyed our stay at Casa Luna. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The front desk staff helped us with setting up our activities. We felt the location was also a big plus. Far enough out of town makes it a quite area. Close enough to town where you can walk into and taxi back. Walking into... More

This is a great hotel. The gardens are truly magnificent and watching the birds at breakfast was a treat. The staff were warm , friendly and helpful in every way. The hotel is not in the center but this is no problem as cabs are cheap depending on where one needs to go to. The view is gorgeous is from... More

We stayed here for 5 days. It was quiet with beautiful views of the Arenal volcano. It rained most of our stay but it was very relaxing. The rooms were comfortable and roomy. It was close to town but far enough away to feel like you were away on vacation. I had a head, shoulder and neck massage which was... More

Lovely place. Nice room. Friendly, helpful staff. A little out of the way but a $10 cab ride to 'downtown'. Has a pool and spa. Close to chocolate tour which was interesting and fun. The garden is gorgeous.

Casa Luna was wonderful- the grounds are beautiful, the staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the location was perfect! After going into town, I was so glad we were staying where we were; much prettier and peaceful. Like everyone says, the rooms are basic but who needs more than a bed, balcony, and AC. Everything was very clean and... More
