Casa Luna is a beautiful hotel on the outskirts of La Fortuna. Pros: - Amazing hotel scenery, including the hotel own's walking trail that passes near a tranquil river - Nice facilities including a lovely swimming pool - Great breakfast - Safe parking - Good recommendation for tours. As far as I was able to judge prices through the hotel... More

We enjoyed our short stay at Casa Luna. The woman who works at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms were a good value. There were a few things that could use some work - after we had cocktails our first night we sat for an hour talking and then got chased by a waitress when... More

Dear Guest; Thanks for your comment and feedback, every day we try to get better and we will take your opinion to improve our service. About the chasing part, we need your signature for room charges just to have a record at checkout time; probably you did not know that so Front Desk have to explain how it works at... More

We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by the frogs' chorus in the beautiful gardens around the accommodation. Rooms are well-appointed with fridge, air con and coffee machine. Breakfast officially starts at 7.00 am which is disappointing as our two departures on trips from there started at 7.25 am and many seemed to have a similar experience. Unofficially breakfast was... We really enjoyed our stay here for a few nights as part of a tour of Costa Rica. The rooms and Hotel are clean, easy to navigate and quite. For a small hotel it has a good balance of a relaxing atmosphere and good amenities. We had a fridge and coffee machine in the room with nice toiletries including conditioner.... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. Pros: helpful staff, the pool and grounds are great, the view of Arenal is breathtaking, rooms are comfortable, restaurant grilled chicken was good, quiet hotel with lots of birds flying around you. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch. Cons: rooms a bit older with a bit of musty smell, but ac partly fixes that.... More

Loved this place. Reception staff were charming, hotel grounds impecable and really well looked after. We had room B1 with a view of the Arenal Volcano but I think most of the rooms have this. The sun sets behind the volcano and the sunsets were good. Pool is excellent and there's a separate pool for small children. One of the... More

This hotel was not only in a gorgeous location, but the staff was wonderful as well. We had the most glorious view from our window! The food food for breakfast lunch and dinner was amazing each time, and we tried it all because unfortunately, there is nothing near so I highly recommend taking a cab into town. Beyond that, the... From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Casa Luna enchanted us with it's views, it's wildlife sounds (birds and frogs), it's ideal location (near waterfall, near Cerro Chato hiking area, near the chocolate tour! and near downtown La Fortuna) and it's warm, welcoming staff!!! Thank you so much for making our visit so pleasant and comfortable. We... More

The location is amazing. The view of Arenal volcano is carefully planned from every room. Beautiful landscaping and nature abounds. The room was comfortable and a lovely balcony for relaxing in the evening. The staff was very helpful, warm and kind. Restaurant was good even if dinner seemed a bit expensive. It was delicious and well prepared. We WILL return... More
