The whole place is incredibly clean and well kept. The pool area is beautiful. They provide separate towels for the pool and for the room. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. Spa treatments were excellent. The only very minor grumble is that the jacuzzis weren't working. But seriously it's brilliant. Stay here.

I booked Casa Luna two days before arriving for three nights. I called the morning of arrival to see if I could get a 2nd floor room, but was told the first night they only had a first floor room. When I arrived, Carol had arranged for a second floor room due to an early check out. That was great,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights at the Casa Luna in March and had a brilliant time. We were lucky enough to have clear views of Arenal Volcano every day from our balcony and I would definitely recommend getting one of the second floor rooms if you can. The rooms were clean and comfortable, not exactly 5 star... More

We visited two main places on our 11 day trip to Costa Rica - Montezuma to visit our girls and La Fortuna to see a different part of the country. We stopped overnight at Jaco' on the way from San Jose to Montezuma because it's hard to get there in one day and likewise in San Jose on our return... More

We stayed as a family with teens for 3 nights. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable enough, but it's not a 5 star hotel, so don't expect that. The bathrooms are small and the showers are basic. The service at the front desk and restaurants was very friendly, helpful, attentive and eager to please. The locations of the rooms... More

My boyfriend and I visited Costa Rica last week and the Arenal Volcano was our first stop (about a 3 hour drive from San Jose). The front desk was friendly. 2welcome drinks as we were checking in. They have a variety of activities you can book with them (we wish we knew that, we stopped at a travel agent on... More

My husband and I just stayed at Casa Luna for 3 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. From the get-go, the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful, and explained the area and the hotel amenities very well. They even greeted us each with a drink, which was a nice added touch. We were thrilled that our room... More

Staff were completely lovely and very attentive but the whole place lacks atmosphere, the bar and restaurant are empty & depressing and we checked out a day early. We found the rooms damp and cell like - showers especially. Of course the view is the reason for visit but there are better venues, we wouldn't dream of returning. On that... More

We stayed here for three nights and visited Cano Negro, which has excellent wildlife but is up by the Nicaraguan border so quite a long journey. We also did the frog trip to visit Otto's garden. This was a great evening searching with Otto and our guide in the undergrowth and ponds before enjoying a lovely traditional Costa Rican meal... More
